Though it doesn't have the minty taste I am accustomed to, it works so well that I ignore it. Even though I have no gum issues, what I really love is how fresh it keeps my breath all day. I can drink my coffee and eat all my onion snacks and this legitimately takes the scent away. Many brands claim to keep your breath minty fresh, but to date this is the only one that actually does it! I'm really loving the paradontax brand and have no plans to go back to the using the usual suspects.

There isn’t much of a scent so if you are sensitive to certain smells you are in luck. It is easy to open so do someone like my who has mobility issues it is helpful especially on high pain days. Since using it I can attest to the fact that the frequency of my bleeding gums had been greatly reduced. I'm sure with continued use it will stop altogether. Also my gums are not sore anymore. It leaves my mouth feeling cleaner and fresher after each use. It has a pleasant minty taste with absolutely no aftertaste and the texture is smooth not grainy.

The flavor isn’t bad, slight minty flavor. Doesn’t seem to last long after you’ve brushed though. My teeth do feel cleaner after brushing. I enjoy the scent, and how it foams in the mouth. It does have an aftertaste that I didn’t quite like. I think perhaps it’s because this contains fluoride. It’s something I don’t usually opt for in a toothpaste.
