This is one of my favorite pattern products. It is so gentle and moisturizing on my hair but thoroughly cleanses my scalp. It's so gentle that I am able to comb my hair while I have the shampoo on. I have never been able to do that with any other shampoo. It also smells nice but not too overpowering. Will definitely keep buying this one!

So I use this on my daughter’s hair right before I use the moisturizing shampoo and let’s just say I wish there was a jumbo size version of the cleansing shampoo. You want squeaky clean hair but without the drying and stripping affect afterwards stop contemplating and just get it

Been trying this shampoo out for my wash days twice a week and it works wonderfully! i have 3b hair and it lathers well and leaves my hair feeling clean but not dry and stripped. good smell that isnt overbearing and pairs well with any of the Pattern conditioners. very happy :))

This is the first PATTERN product I've purchased, and if the whole brand is like this… my pockets are in trouble. I was so pleasantly surprised to find my hair moisturized since most cleansing/clarifying shampoos are stripping. I only used a follow up moisturizing shampoo because I have really dry 4c hair, but I feel you could probably just use this as your sole shampoo on wash day– It's THAT good.
