When the egg hatches into a peafowl chick, Paul tries to leave it behind, but eventually takes the chick under his-- colorful--wing! Tilly Matthews completed an MA in illustration at Nottingham Trent University, UK, and now freelance illustrates alongside working part-time at Nottingham Trent. She has her own range of prints and products under the brand Teshley Designs, and is now focussing on her picture books. After graduating, Tilly worked as a designer at Ladybird Books before going freelance in 2020 to focus on her illustration career.
