I'm totally impressed on the quality of this product, it arrived in just 4 days, it was very well packed, parts clearly labeled and great instructions. I put this together myself in 2 hours, not hurrying. It looks good and hopefully will be used by the 3 feral kitties we feed and their food will no longer be accessible to neighborhood dogs. I hope the ferals get used to going inside so that should we move I'll be able to enclose them and safely take them with us, I would never leave an animal behind.

Fairly easy to put together. Clear instructions and screws nicely packaged and labeled, and each piece stamped for identification. Good looking cat house.

I bought this for my outside cat who likes to roam around but also have a safe place to eat, sleep and hang out. My husband and I put this together about a month ago and it was working relatively well. Until this morning, when we had high winds in the area. I woke up to a loud crash and the wind had blown the cat house over. Thankfully my cat was not in the house when it happened. The cathouse is now damaged and unstable. The wind was strong enough to blow this thing over yet my trash bins and patio furniture remained unmoved. There should be instructions to weigh this down in case of a storm to prevent injury and damage. Waste of money.

My cat loves it! I wish I would¡¯ve known that Catio¡¯s exhisted years ago. The only thing I would say to modify, is the ladder that goes down to the floor, it is too steep for my cat to go down so I have to elevate it. I bought some coolant mats for my cat to not feel the heat so much from being outside. I also tied the door to the wire to have it open all the time, it is just a preference. I also love how it has the window to the side, where I usually go and give her some love. She absolutely loves it and goes in and out of the cage and has hour long rest naps in the middle section. I built it myself and it was not as challenging as i thought it would be, it did however take me a long time so i recommend requesting for help just to speed up the process. Overall we are content.

Our catio came as advertised. A good quality product at a fair price. And of course shipping was free.

This went together pretty easily , the cats love it and its made really well . My only criticism is that the directions offer nothing but pictures and a few tips or pointers could really help . It took 2 of us about 2 hours to assemble . Overall I'm happy with the catio and I'm sure our cats will love it !

It was best to lay all the pieces out to check and make sure they were all there and in good shape. Mine had no damage luckily. The screws are best to put in order of longest to shortest. It¡¯s a picture assembly and they letter the screws by size. The step i had trouble with was the one that the four walls go together. It didn¡¯t show which direction or which side connects, so it took a little logic and tries, but no big deal. The screens were the easy part. I haven¡¯t used the ramp. I used my old scratch post instead. The ramp takes up a lot of room. I did get a lock for the inside to close when I go in to change the litter etc. I have a 16 lb. cat but he made it through the hole that is for the ramp. It is small but he likes it there and doesn¡¯t get stuck. The top is screen too, so I¡¯m putting plexiglass on it for weather. One caution, had to clip their nails, getting caught on the chicken wire screen. Might replace with pet screen used in house windows, keeps bugs out as well. Thought it would be great for an apt if only two screen panels were used and the door. The wood is a fine type for this project so it¡¯s easy to use the screws in and it¡¯s sturdy once assembled. I put it together by myself but another set of hands would have helped. Glad I bought it.

I'm a small-framed woman, and I built this enclosure with just a screwdriver and an embarrassing amount of time, but ... finished product is perfect for the little raccoon I rescued and raised. Will be kept indoors. She has loads of toys inside, easily climbs the ramp, loves the sleeping nestbox area. Very adorable to see her peeking through the windows. Her potty pad sits under the enclosed sleeping box, and toys can be hung from the top mesh for added interest. The enclosure is big enough I can stand in it, and all areas are easily accessible for cleaning. Will hold a small cat tree, hammock, etc. Raccoon climbs the mesh and it seems to be holding up quite well so far. Latches can't be reached by her little raccoon hands from inside, so safe and escape proof. Water bottle hangs nicely on mesh. Safe home for a pet raccoon when you can't babysit outside the enclosure. (She definitely must be babysat!) She does, of course, love to come out to play and wrestle a couple times a day. Very pleased with purchase and her reaction to it, but wouldn't want to build another one. A zillion screws! The things we do for love, lol! Would've been easier if I'd had help, but built it all by myself. If I can do it, anyone can, haha! Becomes increasingly sturdy as it squares up and goes together. Good to build where you want it, cuz too big to move around without helpers. Nicely designed!

Great product, just like the picture and easy to assemble.

I recently moved across country to a new home. Maximizing space and creating fun, safe and adequate areas for my animals has been a top priority! My two cats took to this enclosure immediately, in a day they had settled in to their new area and fully using every cubby ! They have a cat run just off the enclosure for extra space and litter box use ¡ but they spend most of their time enjoying the enclosure . I ordered several cat beds and cubes and created plush little areas inside it. Super easy to put together .

It's very big and comfortable, we love it so much.

We are using this as a chicken coop. It works for both cats and chickens. Easy to put together. Instructions worked very well.

I purchased this Pawhut and it arrived very well packed in 3 seperate cartons which were easy to move to my back yard for construction. Overall it is a very sturdy and well built cat habitat which easily fits on a typical size patio. My cats love the inclined ramp and sleeping in the main 2 levels within the enclosed cabinet. The two clear widows and the small sliding side panel are ideal for viewing the cats. I would rate this cat habitat as a 5 STAR rather than a 4 STAR if the manufacturer would make the following beneficial improvements: 1. Increase the height of the entire structure from 69" to 75" to accomodate 6 ft. tall individuals. In addition, it would be highly beneficial to increase the entire width at least 1 to 2 feet. 2. The main door is only 44 inches tall, which makes it very difficult for taller individuals to enter. Ideally, the main door could and should be built very close to the entire height of the unit. This would be a very easy design modification. 3. There should be a lock on the inside of the main door so that it can be locked from the inside as well as the outside. 4. The 4 locks provided are flimsy and very difficult to slide into the lock position. Better quality locks are needed in addition to the one additional lock for the inside main door. 5. The moderate sized square entrance at the top of the ramp should be 1 to 2 inches taller to make it easier for tall or adult size cats to enter. In addition, this entrance needs a slide in door panel which could be used to temporarily keep cats within the main sleeping hutch, while cleaning or maintaining the main play area.

I just purchased this item and finally put it together. It is purrrrfect for my new kitten. My older cat could use it too but she is not interested. But it is not for a lack of space. The product arrived in 3 cartons. Fairly heavy so have someone to assist you when moving them to the location where you will unpack and set up. One of my cartons was damaged and one piece of the hut was damaged as a result. No fault of the mfg or Aosom. Never fear though, I contacted customer service which i also give 5 stars. My call was answered immediately. The CSR I think is name was Jose, was helpful polite and had an immediate resolve for replacing my part. I really appreciated this. My only suggestion is for the MFG to update their assembly instructions and to more clearly mark the parts. Maybe with stickers instead of an ink stamp that literally blended in with the color of the wood, and some pieces were stamped with 2 different part numbers in different color ink. Assembly is not as straight forward as it could be. I'm very good at putting things together, this proved a little challenging due to the part identification being poor. But out side of that, I LOVE THIS CAT ENCLOSURE. I would recommend it for anyone wanted to give there pets exposure to the great outdoors while ensuring their safety! Donna H. October 13 2020.
