If the duvet looks flat after opening, simply give it a shake and let it place for a few days to regain its fluffiness. Since the filling is protein-based and has been compressed for packaging, a slight odor may occur. Do not wash it¡ªjust simply air it out in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours or more, and the odor will dissipate.
2) Caring the Duvet Insert: The duvet insert is machine washable and dryable, be sure to dry it thoroughly after washing. After drying or taking it out of seasonal storage, you may notice a slight odor as it's filled with protein-based natural filling and high temperatures can cause protein denaturation. Don't worry¡ªplace it in a fresh, breezy area for 24+ hours, and the smell will naturally fade away.

I was so excited to finally receive this comforter! I adore down, as it reminds me of a nice hotel. Hotel comforters are so comfy and relaxing. The comforter is really pretty and soft on the outside, but gosh darn it, does it poke me endlessly!! Five seconds does not go by without being poked by five or six sharp feathers! This is the most uncomfortable, painful, itchy, and irritating blanket I could ever imagine using. Why did I wait so long to return it? Now it's too late! It makes me so hot that I couldn't imagine putting a duvet cover on it to avoid the itching. Which is worse, sweating profusely all night - or being poked by irritatingly, sharp little feathers?

I bought this for my 10 year old son. It is shedding feathers like crazy, which are a major nuisance. They are also scratchy for him. However, the comforter does keep him nice and warm. Hoping we can return this because it's too much of a mess.

This had a pretty color, was soft, and looked perfect. Said it was washable, and I like to wash things before using and as soon as it got wet it had this awful wet dog smell that I can’t get out. It’s my 3rd washing now, still there. I can’t return it, and I don’t know how to teach out to the sellers directly.

“Peace nest” is an appropriate name for this duvet! It is so soft and cuddly. There are little loops at the corner to tie the duvet cover to. It has held up well over several washings, and I have a standard washing machine. My daughter loves it so much she ends up stealing it from me.
