Description
Forever cherish your little ones prints during the most wonderful time of the year with Pearhead’s babyprints ornament. This adorable, do-it-yourself, ornament is easy to make and 100% baby safe. The babyprints ornament comes with a package of clay, shaping ring, rolling pin, a red satin ribbon, and a pin to create the ornament hanging hole. Best of all, the clay requires no mixing or baking! Simply knead the clay and roll it out on a piece of foil (not included). Press baby’s hand or foot in the clay gently but hard enough to create an impression. If you make a mistake - no problem! You can redo it as many times as you need until you get the perfect impression. Once finished making the print, use the shaping ring to create a circle around your baby’s print and remove the excess clay. Then use the pin to create a hole in your ornament for the ribbon to go once dry. Let dry for 1-2 days. Once the clay is completely dry, tie the ribbon through the ornament. Now you can hang your adorable babyprints ornament on your Christmas tree or around your home for the holiday season. Cute gift idea
I love this, it’s super cute very easy to use, it is a bit of work pushing a hand or a foot down for a imprint but the foot is easier, just make sure you really push down or it’ll end up like some of the other reviews because as it dries you do lose some detail but it’s super cute and ours came out great we even decorated the box it came in as a keepsake for our daughters first Christmas

Waste of money
Item isn't clay, more so a putty. Dries into almost a foam material. Rolling pin included is a joke, "clay" comes in an already opened bag so you can't knead it. Waste of money

Cute Idea, final result not what was expected
I really liked this idea for Christmas gifts to the grandparents. The kit is easy to use, I think the red ribbon looks nice. The exection was easy enough too. However, the clay took longer to dry than I excpected and it flattened out significantly upon drying. You really need to make sure the impression is deep for it to hold. Also, the clay dried much bumpier than I expected, so it didn't look quite as nice as I was hoping. Overall, I still think the gift was cute and turned out ok, but not sure whether or not I would do this again in the future.

Did not turn out well
Once the mold dried it became all bloated and disfigured to the point where we could barely make out our daughter’s footprint. We will not be giving this as a gift to the grandparents and that is a bummer.

This is more of a foam material than clay/dough. It feels more flimsy and squishy in nature once dried, however, that does lead to a lighter hanging ornament. The imprints begin to lose definition as it dries. Overall the final product quality is so-so

Wouldnt buy
It was easy to knead it out but it didn’t make the imprint very well. And if you have a newborn you really have to apply a ton of pressure. It wasn’t messy so that’s a plus but we had to redo the handprint several times and even then, I’m not happy about it. I wouldn’t buy this or recommend.

Easy to do

I had to re make a few times due to my baby didn’t want to do it😂. End up using his foot make it easier. Love it as it could keep for years for my memories

Requires patience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Pearhead baby print ornament harder to use than I thought it would be. I love the concept, though I didn't have a easy time with it. Rolling out the product ro the right size, with the provided roller,was kinda time consuming for me. My little girl is only 6 months old, so she isn't quite able to press her own hand down on command. I found it kinda difficult to get her hand pressed into it enough to leave a nice imprint. I might paint the ornament to make her handprint stand out better. I did use a toothpick to write her name and the year on the ornament.

Baby print ornament
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The baby print ornament I switched it up a little and decided to do it with my puppy dog, it turned out perfect! Just waiting for it to dry, it does collect a lot of hair and dirt but it’s definitely easy to put together the directions we’re very clear! I will definitely be buying this again and doing this with my kiddos for Christmas!
