submitted bybrtt123 - 3 months agoA: Once a bottle of Pedialyte is opened, bacteria can potentially come into contact with the product. Over time, the bacterial load can become significant. That’s why we recommend using it within 48 hours of opening. -The Pedialyte Team

Q: Can it be mixed with formula and given to a 7 month old?
A: No, we don’t recommend mixing Pedialyte with formula. When Pedialyte and formula are mixed together, the nutrient and mineral content of both can change, along with the osmolality. The mixture can also become clumpy & hard for your baby to drink. - The Pedialyte Team
submitted byAbbott Nutrition Team - 8 months agoBrand expertA: Absolutely NO, my Nephew is a Doctor he works in the Neonato ICU and I asked him and he answered 'never mix formula with Pedialyte' and always speak to your Pediatrian about changes in diets.
