Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Hearty White Bread - 24oz

The bread was soft and delicious. Perfect for my sandwich.

Feels soft and doesn’t smell but the taste is insane. Was very sour, maybe I got a bad batch. Visually looked fine, unfortunate.

It's like trying to eat two sponges. Texture, thickness and taste are not to our liking.

Genuinely the worst bread I’ve ever eaten. Its texture is gooey and sticky. I threw it out after a couple slices.

I like it and have made the switch. It tastes better than most white breads, seems to last a long time without spoiling, and it isn't too soft, so it holds up well for sandwiches with lots of cold cuts.

As a previous customer has mentioned, I have also experienced a wet tacky texture when using this bread. It’s been a few loafs and I don’t feel comfortable using it. It seems under baked and I have been using the brand for years.

They changed something a few months ago with the recipe or process used to make the bread. Every loaf I’ve gotten since then has a damp, tacky texture, like what you would expect by under-baking the bread by 5 minutes or so. I thought it was a bad batch at first, but it’s been happening long enough that it appears intentional.

It’s sooo sweet. Hard to eat as a savory sandwich because it’s overly sweet

Tasty and holds toppings well but very high in calories. If you’re making a sandwich with 2 slices then it’s a lot of calories. Also, there’s not many slices(14) in the bag for the price and you’ll go through it fast.

Great bread! Soft and dense. Holds butter when toasted without leaking through.

This bread is so freakin' good I can't keep it around LOL! One slice needs to another and another. Excellent taste, texture, weight, the slices are a big larger than average. Great for toast, grilled cheese, French toast or sandwiches.

This is the softest and best tasting bread you can buy at a grocery store. Target sales it for the best price too.

We love all of the Pepperidge Farm breads but the Hearty White is generally our go to. The breads are double packaged for freshness and tastes amazing!

This is our favorite bread! So good with making French toast in the morning with cream cheese topping!

When I was little, sometimes we baked bread at home, and this is more like what I remember. The shape is longer and more oblong. It has a better texture than the typical uniform bread, although it is still pumped full of preservatives like standard American bread, this just tastes a lot better. I'm fond of several flavors, like butter and brioche. This is the only prepackaged bread I'll buy.

Amazing soft deliciousness. Great amount of iron per slice too! Not saying it’s healthy but it sure tastes amazing!! Perfect grilled cheeses!!!

This bread is soooo good and it’s so soft and fresh‼️ I get all the different kinds but this one and the Hawaiian are mine and my sons favorite. My son loves them as well. The packaging is perfect and versatile. Good texture. Good value for your money. It’s really good and tastes great. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family members and also to my social media supporters. It’s a great product, it really tastes great and I believe in it.
