I spotted this by chance, where some wise sales associate had placed alongside other children's books often given as Grad gifts, i.e. Dr. Seuss's Oh, The Places You'll Go, and it was such a great find! I have always enjoyed Pete the Cat for its slightly irreverent humor, which makes the adults chuckle as we read to our children. This book lifts Pete the Cat to one of my favorite characters! Great combination of meaningful quotes and wry pictures that make for a great story for little ones AND a meaningful, smile-inducing gift for us older folks!
