This moisturizer is very thick, pills on face, not worth the $$$

I really like this product. It leaves my skin looking younger and smoother. I've seen a few reviews stating that this pills underneath make-up. That's not pilling, that's your skin exfoliating. I put this on 2 hours ago and i can now literally rub my old, dead skin off - which leaves me looking amazing, the next day. The way to fix this? I only use it once a day, at night. Viola…. I will be purchasing this again.

Got this during the BOGO mini sale. Very thick and heavy, which is what I wanted to try as a nighttime moisturiser, but it's so thick and doesn't spread well and just kind of ended up sitting on top of my skin without actually moisturising it.

I didn't like this cream.

It feels amazing, luxurious but unfortunately it balls up so I'm limited to using it at night. If I use it during the day, it is an ugly nightmare after foundation is applied

I used it for awhile and it did not work I saw no difference in my skin.

Wanted to love it but it balls up. I tried using very little and it is still a problem. Unusable

I have sensitive skin so I was hesitant to try this. Im glad I did, I love it ! A little goes a long way, dont use a lot it'll be too heavy. I use a small amount, rub it between my fingers and smooth it on my face. My skin is brighter and looks great 😊

I'm so glad I found this and the face wash. People compliment my face now.. good if you have hyperpigmentation it fades dark spots. An awesome thumbs up on this.

I was looking for a light all purpose moisturizer to use after I apply the retinal serum. This product is very moisturizing but leaves shiny & skin greasy. It would be great for someone with really dry skin but a little too heavy for normal skin.

I wanted to live this product but I could not get over the smell. Returned it after a few uses

I have tried many moisturizers for sensitive skin. Invariably I will end up with some type of a breakout. I have used Peter Thomas Roth products but the Ultimate Solution 5 Multitasking Moisturizer is above and beyond.

I have mature skin, and this makes my skin smooth and soft.

this daily moisturizer is awful flakes and peels, Even if you don't mix it with any other moisturizers.

As other reviewers have noted, this moisturizer pills when used in combination with other skin treatments. I've tried it with different serums and oils - no matter what combo I try, it pills terribly. Today, since I had no plans to leave the house, I decided to try it without any other product. You guessed it....it still pills, not as much as when it's combined, but annoyingly nonetheless. I'm quite disappointed.

I have bought this twice now. It works period! It melts into my skin and makes my face feel soft and my face looks ether because of it. I’m about to turn 65 next month and people cannot believe I’m this old. It also helps my hair has barely any grey at all. PTR is my go to skin care!

I really tried liking this product, I've absolutely loved all my PTR products and never had a bad experience but the smell is extremely unpleasant and th product pills like crazy. I originally tried this as a face moisturizer under my Supergoop makeup primer and noticed the pilling and originally though it was a reaction between ingredients so I switched to using it at night and when I used my face oil on top I had the same problem with pilling. if I put any product on top of this moisturizer it always pills up and I have to try to wipe my face after application. I have used different moisturizers under my makeup primer and face oils and have never encountered this problem. Moisturizer is never my final step in my skin care routine morning or evening so it is extremely difficult to use and not have it pill up. I have to skip steps to be able to use this moisturizer and if the smell and texture/consistency blew me away I would consider it but it overall leavs me super disappointed. Will honestly just end up throwing out what I have not happy with the product at all, I can easily find much better results and moisturizers overall

I have very sensitive skin and have been trying to find a product that works for me for so long! I usually cant tolerate any actives/acids but because this is in a cream its working wonders for my skin. Its the perfect amount of moisture with exfoliation that has cleared my breakouts!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a sample and decided to try it last Friday evening. Saturday afternoon my face started getting red splotches on my face and neck. It itched so bad and only progressed into a full on reaction which made my face swell. It’s been a week and 3 days and I’m still dealing with the redness and less itching after using a Cicalfate cream to calm my skin down. I’m really hoping the redness and itching go away!
