This product did not work. Can't even feel any tightening.

The company claims to have improved the product so it doesn’t leave a white residue, however, it still does. I will hopefully be able to return this, as it’s quite expensive.

I was hopeful about the new formula. Unfortunately it didn’t work after it dried, leaving visible flakes across my under eyes and brows. I tried using it a few times on clean, exfoliated, dry skin. Each time I had to clean it off before I left the bathroom.

This product did not work at all for me!!! I watched so many videos about this stuff and was so excited to get it. I was very disappointed. I did everything I was supposed to do. Going to return.

The "older" version of this eye cream left a white residue (raccoon eyes) no matter what and how it was used. This new tinted version doesn't leave a residue and it does work but not quite as well as I thought.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The original formula of this eye tightener (in the black tube) was known for causing cracking and flaking. This new formula (in the silver tube) is supposed to eliminate that issue. The product has gone viral on social media with claims it "instantly reduces the look of puffiness, fine lines, deep wrinkles and crow's feet". You are instructed to apply the product to clean, exfoliated skin to prevent cracking, flaking / residue, pulling and pilling. The eye should be patted dry first. There should be no moisturizer underneath, and you cannot apply make up over the area once it sets. A pea sized amount should be applied underneath the eye, around the eye, and below the brow bone - avoiding the eye lid itself. This is supposed to "reduce puffiness, smooth crow's feet, and give an instant brow lift". You can only add additional product if the eye tightener is still wet. Then you are instructed to "stay expressionless for 3 to 7 minutes" to let the product set and dry. The new version comes with a black applicator brush. That was my favorite part of the product and the brush is something I will use often for my under-eye area. That unfortunately is where my praise for this eye tightener ends. I tried every application method possible, including using just the brush, just my fingers - one finger and also alternating between them, a combination of using the brush and my fingers, mixing with a tiny bit of foundation, warming it a bit on the back of my hand first while still keeping the product "wet". You name it, I tried it - including using different amounts and less than instructed. This product does not work well on my skin in general, and it especially does not work well with my fine lines. It was always visible. I am very pale with porcelain, pink tinted skin and the tinted product was never transparent and/or left a white cast where it dried. It felt like I had super-glued my under eye area and it was extremely uncomfortable for me to wear. And I'm sorry, but I do not have 3-7 minutes to sit perfectly still and expressionless without the ability to even look down so a product can set every time I apply makeup. I have included a photo of the product on my wrist so you can see what I am talking about. I have read several reviews that rave about this product and they include photos and videos of the eye tightener in use to great success. But try as I might, I cannot achieve the same results, and I really wanted to love it. Or even just like it. In theory it's a product I need. In reality, it's a hard pass from me.

I have to say, its a little better. But, not by much. It still dries with a white film if you put to much on. There is no concealing, so the tint is useless. If you have dark circles under your eyes like I do, it will not work. I have tried numerous different ways to apply it. Nothing on my face, doing my concealer first then applying it. Still doesn't work like everyone says. It will give you a tight snatched look if you don't need concealment, but for us dark under eye girlies we will have to keep looking.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was skeptical at first, especially of products that advertise instant results, but the Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm Eye Tightener Easy-Wear Formula really delivers. The texture is light, smooth, and blends in perfectly because it is slightly tinted. There is no sticky feeling or chalky white cast. It works well under makeup, and the brush makes application easy and even. Within minutes, my under-eyes looked lifted, less puffy, and fine lines on the bridge of my nose between my eyes were softened. It's comfortable enough for all-day wear without that overly tight feeling. On tired mornings, it's my quick fix for looking more awake. It takes some practice and the results are temporary, and that's why I gave it four stars. But if you're looking for a quick fix, maybe for a night out, this would definitely work.

I have tried plexaderm, Dr. BRANDT, Serious skin care and more. None work as well as Peter thomas roth. This new formula goes on easily with a small brush (included). And I put my foundation on after it was dry and it lasted all night! Great stuff at a great price.

FirmX totally squashed the bags under my eyes, just as I'd hoped it would do.

Don't waste your money! I tried just a small amount and a larger amount to see if it would make a difference. It leaves white residue all over the applicator and your face. I was truly disappointed since every single advertisement promised no white residue.

This product works well for bags as long as you don't plan on moving your face for the rest of the day. Fine lines look much worse when you smile and it leaves a cast that will crack as your face moves, even if you only use a tiny bit.
