The “cooling” aspect comes from the peppermint oil, which in actuality is just a tingling sensation, not actual cooling relief. It is somewhat irritating.

This spray made my face and eyes burn. I sprayed it in the store on my hand and it felt very cooling so I thought it would feel the same on my face. But it didn't. One time I used this spray and it got on my hands. After about 5 minutes my eyes were itchy so I scratched them and gym eyes burned because the spray was still dried on my hands.

I love PTR and have been using the product line for years. I was excited to try this and closed my eyes for a refreshing mist. It instead came out in a stream that landed from my eyebrow to my chin and left that strip burning for over an hour. I immediately tried to wash it off, but not only did that not help, it still somehow found it's way into my eye! Horrible experience. Maybe I got a faulty bottle that didn't mist, but the intense burn left me wondering who tested it and thought it was a great product to relase. While I still love other products in the line, this one was a major disappointment.

The ingredients gave a cooling effect on the face that help refreshed for hrs after time. It has a very herbal and minty scent which help with the refreshing feeling. Make sure not to get in eyes as it will feel minty. I think it's worth the price if you like refreshing sprays.

I typically do not have sensitive skin on my face, but occasionally my eye area can get red from certain ingredients. You have to be careful where this is sprayed, because the peppermint will burn near the eyes. Also wasn't as cooling as I expected and I think just spraying water on my face is cheaper and safer. It also will make your face pretty greasy.

I received the product of Ice-Facial Water Cooling Mist from Influen and Peter Thomas Roth Official complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I have combination skin, as the season is summer time, my skin needs more hydration. As this product is a mist, all you need is 2-3 sprays. When it goes onto my skin, I instantly feel a cool feeling as my skin is getting its hydration it needs with a scent of peppermint. What a minty hydrating blend with hyaluronic acid and caffeine. As I have been using this product for more than two weeks. My skin is more hydrated. Each pore of mine getting its hydration has plumped my skin with the hyaluronic acid.
