    Cute but Momma turtle wont swim for long.

    If you consider this toy to be fun without a moving adult turtle, then do buy this. It’s a cute little aquarium set up. It was fun to hatch the babies and my daughter likes that they hook together to be pulled by the momma. But the momma turtle only worked for one swim. We dried it out and put new batteries in her and she still doesn’t work. So…cute toy but be aware that it may not be mechanical for long.

    Cute but basically single use

    Cute toy, but unfortunately you can only hatch the turtles once and the mother turtle does not swim very well. Another reviewer suggested embroidery tape for the turtle eggs and that has helped us re-hatch the babies again.

    Cute but DRINKS batteries

    The eggs hatching is exciting, as is the swimming mom turtle. And it’s cute to be able to latch the babies so they can all swim together. BUT… major design flaw. The point would be to leave the turtles in the tank all the time, but doing so kills the mom’s batteries in a day and she swims no more. Stupid to not have a shutoff timer on the swimming.

    Waste

    The mommy turtle got wet and then stopped working. We set her out to dry but she no longer works after one use. This seems to be a known problem but what a waste of money!!!!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!!!!!!
