Depends on your child’s age what you choose to do with it. Though it is kind of relaxing to let slip through your fingers. and It’s similar to kinetic sand.

The packaging was deceptive. It made it seem like there were 5 surprises along with a kitten inside, but there was only one other object that could be described as a toy--a tiny milk bottle--and the cat itself. One of the five "surprises" was a product guide which is basically advertising. My daughter was disappointed she spent her money on it.
