A: Mama Turtle comes with a resettable mechanism—once the turtles stop swimming, simply remove them from the water, dry them off, and then place them back in the water to reactivate the swimming motion.

Dont waste your money
I never write reviews but this one needed it. Such a waste of money. I got it for my daughter for her birthday. The instructions don’t state to leave the tape on the eggs, so the eggs hatched as soon as water hit the tank. The tank is also too small for the mom turtle to swim around. She just gets stuck in the corners. Extremely disappointed I wasted $19 on a hunk of plastic.

cute interactive toy
my kids had fun with this toy. we ended up having to play outside because they wanted to splash with the turtles. I am going to probably just turn the turtle into a bath toy. the turtle starts swimming on its own as soon as it is in water. the eggs hatch once under water and the baby turtles float out (we had 3 babies)

Not Waterproof – Serious Design Flaw
This toy is advertised for water play, but it’s not waterproof at all. The battery compartment gets wet easily, leading to rust and even leakage. This is a serious design flaw and makes the toy unsafe and unusable after a short time. Do not buy this product.

Turtle batteries died first day
Eggs say they hatch in 1-3 minutes but hatched as soon as I started to fill it with water. Disappointing because you can’t even sit it down to watch them hatch my daughter wasn’t even looking at this point. Mama turtle batteries died so quickly didn’t even last a full day.

Defective design - not waterproof!!
This is a cute set, but the Mama turtle has a design flaw - the batteries get wet!! She only swam for a couple of minutes before dying and new batteries don’t work.

Turtle fun
I am obsessed with turtles so I had to get this for my kids and I. The turtle is so cute that it swims in the water. My turtle had 4 babies. It’s a nice interactive toy for the kids. Cool that the baby turtles hatch out of the eggs.

Just one day of play...
This toy was good for just one day of play before it was out of batteries. It wasn’t even in the water all that much and the “mama turtle” is already out of batteries. That makes it not worth the money in my opinion. Such a bummer!

Fun toy
This is the most fun toy that I’ve got for my son. He loves animals and he loves getting any kind of toy animals. I got this pets alive mama and baby beach surprise for him and he loved it as soon as he saw it. It is a such a fun thing to see the turtle hatching. It is really cool for little kids.
