Hands down my nephew’s favorite bath-time toy. I have bought this three times over the past year, not because of any quality issues but because my nephew loves it so much that he has a melt down if he leaves it anywhere. He now has one at Grandma’s and one at home. One we lost to the park. The quality is good and it’s fine to watch it swim around in the tub or even in the pool. The tail does come off a lot but it’s easy enough to pop back on. This toy is the perfect size for my shark obsessed 3 year old nephew!

How does a toy MADE to go in the water not have some safety feature to protect the batteries compartment from filling with water???? This is not a safety hazard???

The Robo Alive Great White Shark is designed for water play, and the battery compartment includes a rubber seal to help prevent water ingress. However, if the seal is not properly secured or becomes damaged, water may enter. We always recommend checking that the battery compartment is fully closed and sealed before use. My son is obsessed with sharks and I thought it was going to be a great buy like other robo alive toys I’ve bought him but no. This thing falls apart every few minutes, it completely downed in our pool I don’t know how many times. We had to dive down to get it from the bottom of the pool.

We fully charged and put new batteries in and this didn't work. I was about to initiate a return and buy another one then read the other reviews and realized it was probably pointless. This is a cheaply made toy that hasn't worked for several out of the box and others only for one or two play periods before not responding or breaking. Target needs to pull this off the shelf.

Had to return the first because it wasn’t working at all. We received the replacement, and it worked for one day. It stopped working so I went to change the batteries and the battery compartment was FILLED with water. Batteries were rusted after one use. DO NOT BUY!

Disappointed, shark moves VERY slow and eyes do not turn bright red. My 5 year old grandson liked it but I was expecting it to move around the tub. Battery did not turn off when out of water and randomly made sounds throughout the night.
