Untying and pulling out string completely from package 2. Undoing keylock that secures dino tail 3. Removing egg carefully from blister 4. Removing 2nd keylock (to activate power) - Once the dino is out of the blister/package, knock three times (repeat this 3 times) We hope this helps!

A: Hello!! The dinosaur is orange-brown, and the egg is a pale whitish tan color. The green shown is the green eyes of the dinosaur (the dino has three different eye colors) I hope this helps! :)

Video tape the reaction! Hope its a good one
It was exactly as it is advertised and although it’s on the expensive side of Dino Toys, we videotaped the whole thing, including our three-year-old’s reaction, which made it well worth it! There was some initial fear in our 3 year old which was very surprising because of his love for dinosaur and dinosaur noises. But I believe it’s because of the size of the egg, which is awesome and the crisp clear sound coming out of it. Luckily, his five-year-old brother was happy too activate the dinosaur egg hatching by tapping the egg a few times and as the dinosaur hatched our three-year-old gave a guttural deep “YAAAAA” and pulled his elbows into his side excitedly! I hope every parent gets experienced that because that is what the money is truly for. The toy afterwards is still pretty cool with light up eyes and I think a few sounds but is in appropriate size and the boys still play with. There’s a very big easy on and off button for kids as well..

Great dinosaur toy!
I am a teenager who likes collecting toys. This dinosaur is great, with amazing sculpt and so many features! Firstly, the egg is BIG, and super detailed! The hatching was amazing, but my only downsides were that the mechanics of the toy are really really loud! The mechanism used in the hatching are really cool though. The length of the T-rex is about 12 inches from nose to tail tip, and the height when she is in her normal position is ~7 inches. The dinosaur has a proximity sensor in her nose which can sense objects in front of it, a tongue button, a microphone in the back of the neck, and touch sensors on the back of the head and tail. These all work really well! The clicker works nicely, but it is really loud. You can tap a hard surface for a similar sound, which the dinosaur will also react to as well! (same reaction as clicker) To enter game mode (which I know some people have trouble with), You have to use the clicker first, and then click it again once the dinosaur's eyes turn green. You can only use the clicker when the dinosaur is not moving! The games are all really fun! My favorite is "Quick react", where you have to do a certain action based on what the dinosaur does. Even for a teen, this was really engaging and exciting! There are screw holes on both sides, which is kind of unfortunate. (also, the dinosaur is technically female, because in Jurassic World, all dinosaurs are female once hatched! ^^) I recommend buying this during sales or deals. I got it for 40 dollars. I think the price of $60 is a bit expensive. I hope this helps! :)

Would mot recommend ordering
Would have been an awesome gift but it was poorly packaged with no packing material and arrived broken. Now item is out of stock and Target did a terrible job at resolving the issue. Will definitely make me think twice about ordering in the future unfortunately.

We followed all instructions. Hatch was great, we played correctly but the dinosaur is stuck permanently angry and appears stuck in an animation loop where we cant get it to stop for a moment to respond to the clicker.
