Q: How do we get the bird out the first time?

A: You can get the bird out for the first time by opening the curtain on the front of the cage. Once you pull the curtain aside, Polly will appear inside. You can then lift her out of the cage with your hand. The magic wand is used to make her appear and disappear again, but the very first time, you simply open the curtain and remove the bird manually.

Very disappointed.
Very disappointed. It is super hard to get the curtains closed correctly in order for Polly to “appear”. My 7 year old daughter tried and tried to get it to work and could not. May return.

Junk cage bird is nice.
My son likes it but it's honestly a piece of junk. The plastic is so cheap the doors don't close the right way the curtain gets messed up easily. It is impossible to get Polly to stay down it takes a few minutes every time and when she is supposed to pop up she gets stuck. The bird is cute and nice tho other then the fact that bird tweet is a shrill loud noise. The cage tho is a junk and when I pay $30 for something I expect it to not be junk and work.

Super fun and cute
We purchased this Zuru toy for my magic trick obsessed daughter. This is such a fun toy for her. She loves that she can make the bird disappear and reappear with the wave of her magic wand just like a real magician. The bird itself is super cute and we love how interactive it is. It sings and talks back and moves. This toy was much larger than I expected and it's high quality. She really enjoys playing with this toy and I would definitely go this as a gift.
