[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this new self cleaning litter box. It's so nice to not have to scoop the litter everyday. And it's so easy to just have to change the trash bag. I will say that it was a little bit of a challenge putting it together, but that may have just been me. I like that you can use your favorite litter and don't have to use a specific type. I personally use litter that comes in a box, so it's a slight drawback that the opening is not big enough to get the box in to refill the litter box. The corresponding app makes it easy to monitor the litter box without physically looking at the box. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that has the cat.

To be honest, I already have another branded auto litter, but I did want to see how this one worked in case it’s better and because I needed a second litter box for the upstairs of my house. It’s just OK, I think I definitely like my other brand litter box better, but this is not too bad for the price you pay. My issues are that it doesn’t hide the smell very well, and I could see issues with fluids leaking if your cat is not a particularly good aimer. It was easy to clean, however, and I am still figuring out what litter works best for this. I think if this is your first litter box, you will like it, but if you’ve used others that cost more, you will have higher expectations.

We purchased the PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin Self-Cleaning Litter Box a little over a month ago. Overall, it works fine. We really like the ability to monitor it and its usage through our phone. We have two cats; one is almost two years old, and the other is three months old. Because of this, we have to leave it on manual for now. The only issue we've had is that the litter gets caught up in the gear assembly, causing it to jam. We believe the gear needs to be relocated to prevent contact with the litter. If not for this gear issue, we would have given it a five-star rating.

The cat was afraid to use it for about a week but once she finally did, she loves it. There’s no litter scattered everywhere and the odor control is awesome. Changing the litter is a breeze with no scooping required. The sensors are spot on and it’s not very loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter box was easy to assemble and easy to use. The stand features some buttons including the pet light indicator, the wifi button for setup, and the manual clean button which are all pretty self explanatory and handy. The box included some garbage bags and even a scented filter for the waste compartment which I appreciated. When spinning, it cleans itself relatively well but I do still think it would need a good manual cleaning maybe a bit more often than a traditional box due to the sticky pad and urine attaching to it. (However that may also have to do with the type of litter I have). In addition to that, I do think it would be a bit more helpful if the sifter was a little finer, or built with smaller holes, as some of the waste does unfortunately pass through with the “clean litter” and needs to be manually scooped afterwards. The app is neat, as it tells you how often your cat is using the box, as well as when it is being cleaned. You can even manually clean the box if you would like from your phone, in addition to the button on the stand. I would recommend this box 100% percent, it’s effective and saves you a lot of time + cleaning in the long run!

The bucket is a nice deodorizer like to no noise. Does not take up any space at all love the spots. I can track my cats movements by my phone highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all, I think this is an awesome product! Putting it together was very simple and easily outlined in the instructions. Getting it set up to my Wi-Fi was really simple also and I love having the app so I can monitor when my cat is using the restroom and be able to customize cleaning. It looks great and is put together really well. It was a little bit larger than I thought it would be, but it fit in my space in the bathroom perfectly. The weight of it was manageable also, I easily able to lift it. Functionally everything works smoothly, but I took off one star because my poor cat was afraid of it! She used it but very cautiously. It took her a couple days until she was brave enough to go inside and use it so she did pee on my couch on the in-between (something she never does). I wish that she loved this product as much as I did!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start off I have three cats and three litter boxes. I scoop them all daily so I have always wanted a smart litter box. My boyfriend put this litter box together, and while it was fairly easy for him, he did originally put on the clear waste ‘net’ piece backwards, so the litter box was not working properly, so just make sure you put that on the right way! I have been using the box for about a week now, and my cats took to it immediately. They were not scared of it at all. It is easy for them to get in and out of and big enough for them to do their business and I have my cats range from 9 pounds to 12 pounds. The cleaning cycle takes around three minutes which I did take a video of and it works so smoothly and easily. Since I have three cats, I still will use my traditional boxes, but I think I will be able to get rid of at least one since this box has been an absolute game changer! I haven’t even had to empty the waste bin yet and there is no smell! The litter still does track outside of the box but I’m used to that. The app was also very easy to connect to WiFi and the litter box and is nice if you want to track your pet’s weight and bathroom habits. I would highly, highly recommend this to any multi cat household! I think it’s worth every penny if you can afford it. I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to try this litter box!

This litter box doesn’t more space than the typical ones, but it looks much better. It was so easy to assemble, I just followed the instructions and had it ready in 15-20mins. The litter box is sturdy, stable. no wobbling. You can use app that comes with it to monitor your cats bathroom hankies or change the clean up delay to anytime you want. It doesn’t require you to have any specific litter, just choose the one that works for you based on dust, odor clumping preferences.

This device is so modern, quiet and fits well within all your interiors. Love how it disposes my cats waste, not much clean up , but just the basics. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was quite excited to try this automatic litter box, but honestly it isn't less work than a regular box. It looks sleek (if a bit bulky), and the noise level is quite low. The app could be a bit more intuitive. I have 3 cats. The youngest (pictured) is 2 years old and likes it the most of the 3, but unfortunately he likes to play with it as much as use it, so the app is always showing inaccurate weights when he's halfway in and just digging around for fun. My senior cat does not like it, as it is a bit too high for him, and although he is skinny due to age, he is still a large bodied cat and therefore it is a bit small for him. This is not a good size for big cats. My middle cat could take it or leave it. I usually use wood pellet litter, but obviously that does not work with this sort of machine, but the clumping litter tracks EVERYWHERE and is a huge pain to clean every day. The clumps also seem to stick to the silicone piece where the litter sits, so when the device spins, it ends up with poop and gunk stuck to what becomes the ceiling, so that needs to be wiped down constantly. The clumps sometimes also get stuck or fall to the side of the hole they are supposed to drop into, as it isn't very wide. I have to clean it just as often (if not more) than the regular old litter boxes, so I don't see it as very time saving. I do like that the poop (mostly) gets removed quickly, which keeps the odor down. The app could use some improvement, as it randomly stopped sending notifications and I haven't been able to turn them back on. If you forget to put the device in "add litter" mode, it will assume a cat is inside forever and not function. I had to completely remove it from the app and reconnect after realizing it was not cleaning for a full day, so it would be nice if the app gave some sort of reminder to check when unusual activity like that was detected. Overall, it is a decent product that mostly functions as it should, but a few things could stand to be improved in the execution of its functions.

I have 6 cats, which means a lot of cat boxes and the dreaded chore of cleaning them. The petsafe automatic cat box has been a game changer. I wanted to give it a little while to be able to really give a good review on it. At first it looked overwhelming with all the different pieces, but it was a breeze to install and comes with all the needed materials. (Make sure you tuck the rubber mat in correctly, I did have one part slightly out the first run around but super simple to fix). The cat box came with 2 free deodorizers and a generous roll of bags for the waste bin. It tracks everything in the app from the weight of your cats to when they’re touching/ using it and when. I know most people have safety concerns because of what we have all heard about automatic litter boxes, I had the same ones. As you can see from the video the whole front stays open when it’s cleaning, and moves very slowly. If anything touches any part of the cat box while it’s cleaning (like the mat falling or my daughter being curious) it immediately stops what it’s doing. There is a child safety lock for the buttons the front of the device, and many other personalized options. Including how long of a delay you want from the cat using it, to the automatic clean, or you can set to manual clean only if it makes you feel better watching it each time. It notifies you when the bin is full and needs to be emptied. With 6 cats it takes almost a full week until I needed to change the bag out. I put this litter box in my bedroom just so I was able to monitor every usage because it was a new experience. It is quiet. You can also disable the short beep noise it makes after it is finished cleaning. My cats are large and in charge and I was a little worried about its size, but they’ve all used it with no problems. It’s easy to take apart to clean! The only issues I have noticed: every once in a while if their bathroom trip is a little more … saturated? Sometimes it will stick a little to the wall when moving / not go down all the way. Easy to just take a scooper or something to poke it and it drops right off. The only other complaint would be the exit. When my cats exit the box, they do tend to bring some litter with them. I need to get a larger mat for in front of this one. Other than that, this thing is amazing and a serious game changer for the dreaded chore of cleaning the cat boxes.

I like that I can keep track of my cat using the litter box throughout the day. It is so quiet I forget that it’s even there. At first my cat didn’t know what to think of it and she acted like she was scared to go in there but she has since started using this and likes it. I love that it comes with a deodorizer and also clean up is so easy. I don’t know why it has taken me this long to get this.

You’ll see from the photos: cat reaction to the set up, during and an after shot. As the cats were being curious - they were putting their paws on the base - hitting the “clean” button - they puffed up and ran away. Could be a setting thing on my part. The buttons could be on the back maybe? Placement for the action buttons might change to the side in future models. Otherwise looking like a great product. Looking forward to using the app and getting more familiar with all it has to offer. When it cleans, the sweeping is very quiet. Like a low hum.
