Need to buy more in order to operate this.
Irritated because how was I supposed to know this is just an extension? I thought I was buying something I could plug right in. Misleading if purchasing in store. Beware you'll need more components to plug this in. This is literally just a short strip and no way to plug in. Useless without the other components.

Unfortunately I received this extension but cannot figure out how to use the connectors to extend my base strips. I cannot locate any detailed instructions or videos on how to use this.

Poor description of components needed.
I'm excited about this lightstrip whenever I manage to get it working. I already have a Phillips Hue hub but apparently that is not enough to power up and pair the lightstrip. Phillips need to make what is required to operate this thing much more clear. Also, the directions don't help much. Even if I did have the right components I'm guessing it'd be a lot of trial and error.

Although PH is on the more expensive side, I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for within certain aspects, and this item is one of them. Colors and brightness are accurate and great, never had any issues from all my PH items and choose to stick with PH ecosystem for simplicity.

Perfect extension for our Philips Hue strips, bought a couple of these along with the main package to put behind our 85” TV. It looks so slick, I wasn’t keen on the idea of colored lighting but my husband was, he was right!! It’s adds to the atmosphere of the room whether we’re watching TV or not.

Nice, but not backward compatible
Philips Eco system is great, but these will only work with the new bluetooth light strip and are not compatible with the non bluetooth. Should've done my research.
