I have used this for years and I use it every night. It has just the right amount of exfoliation and it smells like a light lemon. It keeps my pores clean and my face is great!!

One pump is all you need, it’s got the perfect amount of grit to smooth out texture and clean away dirt without being harsh. When you add water it foams up beautifully, and there’s a light citrusy scent (that disappears after rinsing). My skin feels super clean, never dry, and I’ve noticed such a nice glow after using it daily for about a month. 🌟 Definitely a keeper, I’ll be repurchasing for sure! 💛

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philosophy exfoliating daily facial wash has been a long time favorite of mine. The exfoliating grains are very fine and is an excellent physical exfoliant. However, I do not use this daily maybe 2 to 3 times a week to help clear my pores.

Although the micro-exfoliating beads are gentle enough to use daily, I have sensitive skin, so I use this wash every other day. My face feels very clean and smooth after each wash. I do not understand why the instructions on the back only mention using this in the morning.

I feel like chemical exfoliants have taken all of the hype the last few years, but there is something about a gentle but gritty physical exfoliant that can’t be beat. One pump goes a long way, the texture is perfectly gritty to take away texture and dirt but does not irritate at all. It froths up very nicely once you add water, and there is a light citrus scent that I find goes away once you rinse! My face has felt so fresh and looks so much brighter after using this consistently once a day for nearly a month. The wash isn’t stripping at all but leaves your face feeling super clean. Overall I love this product and will definitely repurchase.

I don't mind the fine grit feeling it gives because I feel like it's getting all the days dirt off my face and taking off the dead skin cells of the day as well. However, those with sensitive skin may not want to do this everyday. There is no strong scent and your skin feels great after.

I liked that while the actual grains in this product are really micro they didn’t feel like they disappeared once I started rubbing it on my face. It had a nice light citrusy scent, not overpowering at all. It feels like it does a great job at really removing all of the built up dead skin cells (gross!) without feeling like it’s stripping the skin or being harsh.
