[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like to give my children toys that lets them be creative and use their imagination as well as makes them think. This brand Picasso tiles does just that with this three-in-one solar robot science building kit. My son was fascinated with this and the fact that these are solar powered. He had the choice to make the beetle, mobile driller, or T-Rex and because he loves dinosaur so much he went with the T-Rex. I will say the age on this says 6 and up but I do think maybe it's for older children my son is 10 and he was able to get most of it together by himself as far as the body goes but we did help a little bit with setting up the solar panel. The parts are plastic but they're made very well. I love that this doesn't need batteries and the sun was the energy source. These are really great toys and a way for your child to learn something new. I feel like this is a great quality kit and I would buy more of these

It had a lot of pieces that needed to be cut with a sharp tool. The pieces were too much and instructions were a bit difficult for a 11 yr old. It needs to be easier to assemble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun and educational STEM toy. It comes with pliers to clip apart the plastic components and instructions. The stated age range is 6, but my advanced 6 year old needed A LOT of help and it took a long time to assemble. My son is pretty used to kits like this—we have engineering subscription boxes and this was still way too challenging for him to do much in the building stage, but he liked playing with the finished projects. I would say 10-12 is a better age range when they have the dexterity for the small pieces. Instructions are pretty standard for this kind of set, but I wish that it had a video tutorial to follow along with. Overall, a great activity or gift for an older kiddo.

I do wish it had a little weight to it, so it could stand and walk better, but for the price and size of this it works great. My favorite part of all is that it is solar paneled and no battery life to worry about.
