It's made out of the usual plastic but seems to do well holding up with tough play from my princess who likes to climb trees (don't recommend letting them wear the hills while doing this). My daughter liked all the jewelry that was included in this set and they seem to be holding up well.

My little one had so much fun mixing up the pieces and playing Dress up. She had plenty of pieces to share with her friends and they played with it for hours! The pieces are very well made and cleans up easily. Cute toy!
