Pop up Beach Shelter that features closing ventilation windows, a fold out entrance, inside mesh pockets for sunglasses, clothes, accessories. Shelter set Includes (4) sand pouches to secure to the shelter at the beach (4) spikes for securing on hard ground and (1) zip carrying bag. Roomy enough for a family. The built in fiberglass frame allows this shelter to pop open for immediate use, no assembly required. Very roomy for a large family and great protection from wind and sun. The design was great, but the company made it with very poor quality material. It also came with the wrong instructions to close it down. But even with the right instructions it was hard to figure out from the drawing. More details below.
Poor quality. Right out of the box the zippers were bad. They zip and unzip unreliably. The only time I set it up, it got almost no use but now it has a small tear in the fabric on the bottom.
The design was so great though. It’s big, has sandbags to hold it down or stakes, has an attached tarp to extend the base in the front, can collapse into a lightweight tote.
But collapsing it was more like crossing your fingers and start folding and twisting. The instructions that came with it were for a different tent and the correct online illustration was still confusing.
All in all, it’s not worth the $80ish I paid for it. Awesome idea, but in practice it’s VERY low quality material, and folding it down is hard to figure out. After one or two good uses your $80 will be used up and you’ll be in the market again for another tent.
I will be taking it back if they accept it.
