The Pillsbury orange rolls have been a beloved breakfast staple for many families, offering a delightful combination of sweet and tangy flavors. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in quality, particularly regarding the perforation and separation of the rolls. Guests appreciate the taste and nostalgic value but express frustration over the difficulty in pulling apart the rolls. Despite these concerns, many continue to enjoy them as a quick and easy treat for special occasions or weekend breakfasts.

    Soft dough

My husband and I have enjoyed these Orange Rolls for years. We have some in the oven now but when the can was opened the rolls couldn't be separated had to use a knife to cut apart. The dough was soft right out of the refrigerator. Don’t know what you've done with the dough but I hope you can fix this.

What happened to this product? It's now just a big tangled up mess instead of nice separable rolls. We've been buying these for decades. If this is the quality that is the future for Pillsbury, we're done with it!

Why bother to perforated the dough for easy separation when it's such a blob that we have to cut them with a knife? I can remember when the dough came out firm, was easy to separate, and baked soft. Now it comes out too soft, can't be separated evenly, and bakes hard. Your baking times are wrong. 13 minutes is .ore likely. Waste of money.

Since I was a kid I have loved Pillsbury orange rolls until now. I recently bought and made a batch and the taste has totally changed. They no longer taste orange flavored they now have like a bitter chemical aftertaste. It makes me so sad. Pillsbury please change the recipe back to the way they where! I will no longer be buying these the way the taste now.

We really enjoy these orange rolls, HOWEVER, getting them out of the container and into the pan is very frustrating. The rolls are not separated enough and end up having to be pulled apart and then smashed together in order to make them.

I wish zero stars was an option. I’m so disgusted with the pillsbury quality. When I opened the tube of cinnamon rolls, they weren’t even perforated so I could get them apart. So forget even baking. Last time I buy a pillsbury product.

I am so disappointed in Pillsbury. For years our Christmas morning tradition included orange danish and cinnamon rolls from Pillsbury - none other. We have not been able to find orange danish for along time. was excited when I saw the orange rolls. They are nothing but cinnamon rolls with orange icing. There is not a drop of orange in the ingredients and red and yellow dye to make orange icing. I'm sorry but the dough boy has lost his touch. Very very sad.🥲

Our family used to love these, but I’ve put an embargo on them until they fix the packaging issue. The perforations, if you can call them that, are useless. These are impossible to separate by hand without ruining the product. Then you think to yourself “no big deal, I can just cut the dough, right?” WRONG. The dough is rolled at an angle, so unless you’re ready to do some geometry, you will never get a reasonably uniform, properly shaped amount of rolls. Comically horrible and ridiculously frustrating.

Here's a refined version: --- We've enjoyed these rolls for a long time—they've always been a family favorite. Growing up, they were a staple at our table. However, over the past year, we've noticed a significant decline in quality. The rolls have become nearly impossible to break or tear apart, and the perforations that once made them easy to separate are either faint or completely gone, leaving us with a single blob of dough. This is incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially since separating them is now a real challenge. After reading numerous reviews online, it seems this is a widespread issue that needs to be addressed.

I had to stop buying these. They have been one of my favorite Sunday morning breakfasts but, in recent years the quality has gone down. Specifically the packaging. They still pretty much taste the same but, They are very difficult to separate and are cut on a diagonal for some reason. I decided to stop buying them after the last batch somehow ended up with part of a roll in the icing cup.
