[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Pilot Rock picnic table frame kit and bought our own lumber to make a awesome top quality picnic table. We ordered 5 pressure treated 8 foot boards from the lumber company, that way we didn't have to do any sawing. You basically just drill holes for big bolts and put the table together. Pretty easy, even for amateurs like us. Took about 3 hours cause we were nervous about making a mistake and so we measured everything two or three times! Had to order a 7/16 drill bit because none of the sets we had included that size. So excited for summer picnics and block parties. This table is super sturdy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Pilot Rock Outdoors Steel Table in my neighborhood park. The entire neighborhood will get years of enjoyment since the frame is extremely well built and durable. Wooden frames do not compare to the quality of the Pilot Rock frame.

I would suggest 2 people to put it together. 3 if you want it to be VERY easy. We used 3 people. One attached the wood to the legs while the other 2 held the wood even. This has been amazing to have and perfect for events! We carved pumpkins on it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this sturdy picnic table frame set. It makes a very nice size 6 ' or 8' picnic table that's very sturdy. It's even tip proof which is something that's a must with me having my elderly parents in our home. This 12-guage pre-galvanized frame is the sturdiness we desired and more. The sled -skid legs protects our grass when we easily slide it out of the way to mow. Assembly was a breeze with the pre-drilled holes. Overall the quality can't be beat. Highly recommend!

With the wood choice up to you, the possibility is really endless on how you want your table to come out (and you could always swap out later). I could see this being a lifetime piece. Very happy with it.

The legs are made of pre-galvanized steel and feature diagonal bracing. The legs weigh almost 80lbs which makes for no table tipping. The holes are predrilled, and fastener hardware included, so all you need to add is lumber. The legs are very durable so no worries about the table legs giving out. Picnic tables are a great addition to any back yard and the Pilot Rock 6' or 8' Outdoor Steel Non Tip Picnic Table Legs Kit will have your family eating outdoors in no time. Highly Recommended!

The packaging is totally on point and it's pretty easy to assemble! I really like that it's made of steel and that it's very durable! I made sure it would last a little longer by painting the metal, but I wiped down with vinegar to remove any oils. The frames allowed me to make the seating a little shorter than normal to fit a small area I have. Works for me!

They will last a life time and are of great craftsmanship. I was able to purchase my own 2x10 boards and stained them before I installed the legs. Easy to pull around the lawn when I am mowing. Looks fantastic and is a great addiction to my yard

We wanted a picnic table for extra seating in our big backyard for all the kids and their friends. With a few pieces of lumber my husband and father had it built in no time. The kids love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that when it came in, I could not believe that it weighed 80 pounds...just the kit....the completed table is seriously heavy and required 3 of use to move it...it is not moving again. I have not stained it yet, but it looks good and should be there for....well...ever as long as I stain it. The metal pipe walls are like 1/8th inch thick or more and the whole kit is made to last...like national park shelter heavy duty. It all went together easily and all hardware and instructions were included and made sense. I am not sure that I needed something this heavy duty, but glad to have it. Nice to see something made to last for a change.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received RJ Thomas Mfg Co Inc - Pilot Rock 6' or 8' Outdoor Steel Non Tip Picnic Table Legs Kit (Frame Only) from TryIt, and these are some very handy and sturdy leg frames for a outdoor table. We had an old table that need legs so my husband used these on that, and it worked perfectly. Now we have a new to us table to use outside again. Took a little work to get them on but well worth it.
