It was very easy to light and burned beautifully. I added one regular piece of firewood, along with the fire log to get the aroma because there isn’t much smell when burned alone. I definitely would recommend this. I have purchased more. And will continue to buy again. It doesn’t leave much ash behind either which is good. The bonus of a burning longer than my regular firewood is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pine mountain fire log was fairly easy for me to light. The bond fire lasted for hours as I used about 2 of them along with some sticks. It comes in easy packaging and comes with a lot of logs. I do recommend these logs to start a fire.

The log lighted easily and put off a nice hot flame, perfect for outdoors or indoors. I don’t love the smell of the logs, but they are not as offensive as some. I would recommend outdoor use, so the scent isn’t as strong.

It started out pretty well, I lit the bag at all of the indicated spots and the bag ignited instantly and thoroughly...but after the bag paper was about through it really didn't go much further. The log did not light for me. We have had mild to moderately windy days pretty regularly this fall, so I would have to say I don't recommend this if you have any wind. I think this would work better in an indoor fireplace, or in very mild weathered days.

It would also help if you have larger logs or logs that are slightly damp. These logs start very easily and stay lit for hours. I actually bought these again for a camping trip I had and am glad I did! It didn’t create any weird smell or anything else out of the ordinary. The price is pretty reasonable too.

Being from New York, we see some pretty cold weather and my favorite thing to do to keep warm is use the fireplace. The Pine Mountain 3 Hour Firelog makes starting (and keeping) a fire so easy! All you have to do is light the paper and you have a fire that will last you 3 hours at least. My least favorite part of using the fireplace is starting a fire, it uses too much paper and has me rearranging the wood until it finally catches. With the 3 Hour Firelog, I don’t have to deal with the hassle of babysitting the fire and making sure it stays lit. The 3 Hour Firelog is self sufficient after the first light and doesn’t need any additional maintenance or equipment. It smells amazing and all the ingredients are natural so I don’t need to worry about any harmful chemicals. It leaves zero mess, splinters, or burns. It lights super fast and stays lit! This is most definitely going to become a staple in my house this winter and it will be recommended to all my friends and family!
