This is an East Asian aphrodisiac. Appears very effective but requires more study. May increase Dihydrotestosterone which in turn leads to more body hair on the body but is also alleged to cause male pattern baldness at the same time. Conclusions differ as to whether this is true or whether the baldness is caused by other factors. Dihydrotestosterone can also lead to enlarged prostate. To what extent Butea has these effects is unknown. Caution is recommended - there are alternatives that don't have these problems. Butea requires a lot more research. Can therefore give it no more than 3 stars.
