I literally eat dates every day as a snack. I don’t know what was wrong with this batch, but they were super dry and not very tasty. I thought it was beyond expired, but when I checked the expiration date, it wasn’t. Just really bad quality dates I guess. I do not recommend these

Good & Gather? I'd call them Not So Great & Avoid
Some dates were soft and moist, but most were quite dry and fibrous. Their appearance reminded me of celery. I realize this type of date is categorized as “semi-dry.” No “semi” to me; just dry! I understand Deglet Noor dates have a higher sugar content than Mejool dates, though it seems the opposite. I was disappointed, and will likely not buy these again.

Skip these, the organic ones are better
I normally get the organic ones, but decided to give these a try as they’re cheaper and you get 2oz more than the organic ones. It was not a good purchase lol. These are slightly bigger than the organic ones and the positives end there. They’re very dry and have little to no flavor. I know there tends to be a difference in quality between organic products and non-organic, but I’ve never tasted a difference this vast. You’re better off getting the organic ones, they’re worth the extra money.
