I'm guessing the thickeners in this make it behave differently than the name brand but this was not good for a cheesecake. It was harder to mix and the flavors did not disperse well in the finished product. Maybe the additional tang other reviewers have mentioned also contributed to the off flavor of the finished product, not sure. Would not repurchase.

Although the expiration date was over a month away. When package was opened same day it tasted sour and then the other item was opened same results. Maybe the cream cheese wasn't refrigerated at Target properly.

This cream cheese did the job, but it was tangier in taste than what we were used to. My husband asked me if it had gone sour, but it was far from its best by date and looked and smelled fine. Just had a bit of a tanginess to it that was only really noticeable when it was spread in things like bagels (not when used in recipes).

Terrible advertising- makes it seem as though it’s a 2 pack of 16oz cream cheese, not 2 pack of 8 oz. I recommend you fix that as it’s very inconvenient to those thinking they’re buying a 32 oz of cream cheese.
