They leak. Awful!
Horrible! I got these from someone and they’re the worst I’ve used in a decade. They leak, the string is so thin with zero leak guard and they hardly even absorb compared to what I normally use.

Bad Applicator and Not great for heavy flow days
The applicator on this is not very good. It’s bulky, it falls off easily and it’s a real pain to get it back on. Also, I don’t trust these while I’m playing tennis or overnight on the heavier flow days. I was trying these out in the place of Tampax ultra because of the “sport” aspect, but I’m going back.

40 yrs using this - lately throwing away panties!
I have been using Playtex tampons for 40 years now and my daughter for 7. What changed? They do not expand at all, and it is almost like they have a coating to not absorb at all. Things fit right around the tampon itself. We’ve tried the original, the sport and all sizes- even the hard to find Ultra. I thought it was my body changing until my 18 year old said all her pantries have been ruined now. Please - what happened? Buying Playtex above all others that I tried years ago was always a no brained. But now it’s costing me 4 x the price as we go through them rapidly, have to also wear a pad and regularly need to replace all the ruined underwear.

Terrible if you actually have heavy flow
I usually use the O.B. Ultra tampons and I LOVE THEM. My target does not carry them in Ultra anymore. So I tried these. And somehow, they are massive but hardly absorb ANYTHING. It all sticks on the outside ??? And when you remove you can see how much is NOT absorbing. These are terrible, I threw the box away after only using a few. Will be ordering my go-to Ultras on Amazon.

Struggle with ultra
Used kotex until they stopped. Had a hard time finding right product but playtex is doing well. Except for ultra. I need heavy protection but i cant get these to glide. the tips of the supers are rounded. These are not much larger, but they are SQUARED. so dumb. No wonder they won't slide. What a disappointment for me. And using them often blocks flow rather than absorbing it. Causes discomfort. The super kotex worked better than these supposed ultras.

Doesn't leak
I bought these a couple months ago. I have extremely heavy bleeding for 1 day on my periods. Using these, is the first time I haven't had to wear a pad with my tampon. Thank you!

PCOS
I first starting using this Sport brand when I was 16, playing softball year round and basketball seasonally. Playtex has always been my go-to since they are much more comfortable than other competitor brands and I was impressed with the grip as well as just how much liquid they held. More recently I learned that I have PCOS which makes my cycle timing unpredictable and much heavier, most of the time. I'm truly glad Ultra is available, I have so much trouble using other brands for this size that I get just plain infuriated and want to throw the whole thing away or just cry because it shouldn't be so difficult, but THE GRIP on these styles is my saving grace. I will not try another brand again, even if I have to buy these online only. I wish more stores near me had your full line of products. Thank you for having a quality product that has been tested, tried and remained my trustworthy protection all the way from Regular to Ultra.

Work like a light flow tampon.
The leakage is constant. They do not absorb like the Tampax Ultra for my very heavy flow. I wanted to get away from the Tampax brand, but will have to return.

Finally!
Finally. For years, I've been saying they don't make tampons the way they used to. They used to last 6 hours. Nowadays, I can barely get 3 hours out if one. The Sport Ultra reminds me of the circa '99-02 tampons. I slept from 11:30-6:45 and it was full when I removed it. Also, I've always loved the Sport applicator tip - very easy to remove. They are thick and weighty. To the lady who complained about the floor incident, you do realize you should remove them while on the toilet, right?

I bought this, in thinking that it was going to be a bit different from the Sport Super + Tampon, but alas there isn't much difference in the Sport Ultra compared to the Playtex Simply Gentle Glide Ultra (which I have tried before with very much success). I'll stick with my Simply Gentle Glide Super + & the Simply Gentle Glide Ultra versions from now on.

Lifesaver for heavy periods after kids!
I seriously thought I couldn’t wear tampons after kids and was so bummed, but these were a lifesaver! Recommended by my pelvic floor physical therapist. After my two kids, this is the only tampon I can use to absorb my heavy periods that I never had before. It holds well whereas other tampons would leak around the edges even if they weren’t totally full throughout.
