I regularly have a cup of coffee and a glass or two of tea every day. My teeth show staining from both beverages. This has 5% hydrogen peroxide, as well as sodiumfluorophosphate, which is an anti-cavity Ingredient. They claimed to remove 15 years of deep-set stains. So far, I have noticed my teeth look less stained and feel clean. The white paste has a minty taste with a bit of what taste like baking soda to me. Colgate has a warning statement included to explain that some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening product. I have not noticed any pain, but then I typically use a rinse for gum protection.

My mouth feels fresh and it has that after the dentist clean where you can't stop smiling. It's very consistent and I love the foaming it produces because I can tell it's getting every nook and cranny to whiten even in between my teeth. I had my husband be the test subject for this item as I wanted to see how it worked on the stains he has in between his teeth. He has been using this toothpaste for a little over three weeks and the progression photos you see are day 1, at one week, and at the end of two weeks. I can tell a difference in the staining around his teeth and there is no noticeable residue. I think we need to use this longer to determine if it is really helping to whiten but as of right now we are willing to try another tube to get a more conclusive test. As always do your research on any product to see if it is right for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me preface this review by saying that we are a house divided on this toothpaste. My husband loves it, but I do not. We've always had a shared affinity for other Colgate offerings, but we just have to agree to disagree on this one. The pros for him are cons for me. I can't stand the way that this makes the inside of mouth feel all tingly and the weird aftertaste that lingers. My husband, on the other hand, loves mouthwash (hard pass for me), so the way that this tastes and feels is a win for him. For me, the feeling of cleanliness does not last. And oh, the aftertaste... not great at all. I have had to follow it with my preferred toothpaste to try to recover from the flavor that really isn't all that minty. Tonight, after a week of really trying to love this twice per day, I just gave up and ate a brownie to get rid of the aftertaste. This will be relegated to my husband's work bag for the remainder of its time in our household.

Added fluoride helps, restore the enamel. There's also an ActiveShine that is supposed to make your teeth look brighter as well. It is silica based. My mouth does feel much cleaner after use

Visibly wider teeth in just a few days, leaves a minty fresh taste in your mouth that last for quite some time.

I like that it foams on my teeth and makes them feel thoroughly clean. I love the cooling mint flavor because it leaves my mouth feeling refreshed. I do feel that this product does remove surface stains but that it might not remove set in stains that have been there for years. I do find the texture of this toothpaste to be gritty as well. Overall, I am impressed with the results of this toothpaste as far as cleaning but I do find the hydrogen peroxide to be harsh on my gums. I would use this product again and I would purchase at this price point.

It leaves your teeth feeling clean and doesn’t leave any residue. I can tell that my teeth have gotten a little lighter. The flavor is good and leaves my breath fresh.
