Love this product, easy to use, great taste ( love the purple color...most of all it does get you teeth clean... & the price was fair!

They just reduced the size but are charging the same price, aka shrinkflation. It works fine but not worth it anymore

Really like Colgate toothpaste. I really like the idea of purple working to make yellow teeth tones appear a brighter white without bleach. I took off 1 star as the size seems to be shrinking. I need more time to see stain removal.

Not worth the price. I don’t see a difference between using this toothpaste and the one using baking soda. The aftertaste is very strong and doesn’t rinse out very easily. It’s incredibly heavy on your teeth and has a gross feeling after using it. My breathe is super fresh afterwards but I would not buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive teeth, and unfortunately I found this toothpaste heightened my sensitivity. As a result, for part of my testing period, I ended up having to reduce my usage from twice a day to once a day (I alternated with another sensitive paste), which likely interfered with my whitening results. It left my breath feeling fresh and my teeth feeling clean, but I couldn't tolerate the discomfort from the paste long term. I would imagine this could be a very good whitening paste for someone whose teeth aren't as sensitive as mine, hence the "good" rating, but I wanted to review from the perspective of someone with teeth sensitivity.

After only a few uses, I’ve already noticed an improvement in the whiteness of my teeth (which are yellowing due to my coffee drinking).

Tastes a bit soapy but not terrible. Affordable and fine as a basic toothpaste, similar to most available toothpastes on the market. Dispenses as a usual toothpaste.

Great toothpaste for whitening, noticed a huge difference after just a few days of using it. It has a fresh. Lean taste and lathers. The tube seems to last a good amount of time.

I have stained teeth and thought this would work well (like purple shampoo on my blonde hair) NOT at all. It almost stained my teeth purplish black. I instantly saw the darkness on my teeth and spit it out and my teeth looked worse than before I used it. I had to brush with a different toothpaste to get it to go away and did not use again. I would not recommend at all.

I use it every day and the results are still getting even better. Definable worth the try. Whitening is so expensive and this is really a more easy and less painful way to have white teeths. Love this Colgate Optic White purple Toothpaste. And yes the color is purple. My teeths are now clean and looking whiter than before. It is a good size I still have and been using it for more than a month. Even my family started to using it, because they noticed my teeths getting whiter. 😍

When it comes to whitening products and purple is my favorite color so I'm always looking for a nice purple toothpaste. But they're never purple, and they never properly whiten. This product succeeds at both!

I personally wouldn’t buy this product again and I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend.

It foams up pretty well and the taste is fine. I use it daily and it works. I havent experienced any issues with this toothpaste. It’s easy to open the tub and close it. The cap closes without any issues. Taste is great.

I can’t get my teeth professionally whitened due to having partially reconstructed front teeth so I love a good gentle whitening option that can help me whiten my teeth but not overly whiten them. I found the toothpaste to be effective at that. From the first use I have noticed that my teeth are brighter and whiter.

Because it is very thick, it actually stuck to the sink. It was a pain to get the purple residue off of the inside of the sink.

It claims to be anti-cavity and whitening with microscopic beads, that you cannot feel in the texture. I didn’t notice a difference in how white my teeth looked, however I also drink a lot of coffee, so my teeth have always had some yellow staining. The tube is smaller than a normal toothpaste and lasted me about a month, though I still have a little left. That said, it worked well as a regular toothpaste and has that typical minty fresh aftertaste. If the price is comparable to other toothpastes I usually buy, I’d definitely pick this up and use it again.
