Plow & Hearth Handmade Bicycling Frogs Metal Wind Spinner

Spinner doesn't spin. Don't waste your money. I have bought a few items from this company but the last two, this one and the one before, to hold the value for the price. Sorry to do this.

I love the look and size bui it does not spn at all even in a strong wind.

This was a must have from the moment I saw it. You see I am a frog lover. I was so disappointed when it didn't spin. I, like others have tried many things to make is work without success. I do hope that yuo have come up with a solution or better design.

Bright colors, rotates in the wind as designed, whimsical and I love frog art for my garden, I am thrilled with the available garden art at your store!!!

It has some balance issues despite multiple tries at placing it at different angles into the ground and it does not turn easy in the wind. Whimsical, though.

The metal of the stand was very thin and cheaply designed. Broke putting it into soft ground. Was very sad.

We have it by our patio. It is very cute but doesn't spin unless there is gale force winds. We lubricated it and it still doesn't spin.

This is all around great! The little frog pedals his heart out in moderate wind. ¸

The frogs on a bicycle are very well made, smartly painted and looks great in the landscape. I, like others who've purchased the item, used WD-40 to help oil up the legs and spinning wheel to help it spin more easily. It does take a good amount of wind to get it to spin. The one complaint I would have is that it also spins on its polemaking it turn straight with the breeze, which makes the wheel less likely to spin. I took a thin tooth pick and wedged it onto the rod to help it to not turn away from the wind. Now the frogs stay facing where I put them and the Mr Frog can pedal them more easily. It still takes a pretty strong breeze for this to happen, which means, visitors are less likely to see it when it's spinningbecause most aren't outside when the wind is strong. None-the-less, it's whimsical and fun. I love it.

This wind spinner gets a lot of attention. People stop to admire my garden yet, the frogs on the bicycle have The young children enthralled. Even in the Highwinds, Mr. frog looks like he's in a spin class! My husband keeps him oiled. We get a lot of compliments on our Frog cyclist and his pretty companion.

Looks ok but the wind spinner does not spin. Not sure it would spin even in a very high wind. Cheaply made in Asia.

Really cute, but it doesn't spin like the video shows. The wheel is too stiff for a strong wind to move. You can loosen the bolt so it will spin, but then the legs don't move like they're supposed to. Got a replacement sent, but it's even worse than the first.

This is incredibly cute!! The frog doesn't pedal and after reading other reviews, I was aware of this prior to purchasing it, but I still love it.

This wind spinner is absolutely gorgeous. But as other reviewers mentioned, it needs a strong breeze to spin. When I got mine, I noticed it didn't spin even with strong breeze so I used WD-40 on the joints and that helped a lot. It is now spinning but only when the wind speed is on the high end.

We got this and it is as it looks, seems really nice but doesn't spin except pushing it by hand. My husband thought adding oil might help but it didn't. It's a windy day. I hope it spins another day, but it's discouraging given the price. It's cute so we decided to keep it, plus being in Canada it does y seem worth the hassle to return it. Maybe someone knows what to do to get it to spin? I might call the company tomorrow. The one we really wanted couldn't be shipped to us here, but we had liked this one as well.

really cute but i had to wait over 7 months and it does not spin at all even on a windy day. i have used wd 40 and everything to try to make spin but it doesnt

After reading reviews that said this spinner doesn't spin, I thought maybe they just didn't have it placed where it got enough wind. No. It is a design flaw. My frog did not peddle at all with normal wind. It hardly moved with 50 mph wind gusts last week. The wind blows it into a position where it is in a straight line with the wind. It needs a tail that is positioned correctly like a windmill to operate like intended. I am experimenting with where to best place a tail on it. It is adorable though.
