Q: Does this work with the Polaroid Pop instant camera?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Polaroid Hi-Print Paper Gen 2: Android & iOS Compatible, Bluetooth, USB-C Connection. No, the Polaroid Hi-Print Paper Gen 2 is not compatible with the Polaroid Pop instant camera. These two devices use completely different printing technologies and film/paper types: Polaroid Hi-Print Paper: This paper is an all-in-one cartridge used exclusively with the Polaroid Hi-Print Pocket Photo Printer. This printer uses a technology called Dye Diffusion Thermal Transfer (or Dye-Sublimation), which heats color layers onto the paper. Polaroid Pop Camera: The Polaroid Pop camera uses ZINK (Zero Ink) paper in a specific, larger format, which is typically 3.5" x 4.25". ZINK paper has color crystals embedded within the paper itself that are activated by heat. The papers are entirely different in size, technology, and packaging, so the Hi-Print cartridge will not physically fit or work inside the Pop camera. You need to look for Polaroid Pop ZINK Paper or 3.5" x 4.25" ZINK Photo Paper to use with your Polaroid Pop camera.
