With the INSTAX AIR STUDIO™ App feature, select ‘in-the-moment’ 3D AR (augmented reality) effects before taking photos with your Smartphone and printing them on INSTAX MINI instant film with the INSTAX MINI LINK 3 Smartphone printer! Simply choose a background and add some décor (think balloons, hearts and leafy garlands) or even animated effects! We’ve got confetti, spotlights, sprinkles… everything you need to ensure your INSTAX MINI photos have a little extra magic.
Want to make sure you’re center stage within the shot? Open the INSTAX AIR STUDIO App feature, set the scene and select ‘Remote Live View’. A QR code will appear on the screen ready to be scanned by another Smartphone. Once scanned, both you and your friend will be able to see the ‘scene’ before taking the photo - an easy way to make sure you’re center stage within the shot!
Then there’s the ultimate in-App “photobooth” experience! The Click to Collage App feature captures a series of six images at three second intervals. Choose two, four or six fun-tastic images to print as a collage on your INSTAX MINI instant photo. Looking to share on social? This series of images is automatically turned into an animation…perfect for posting.
Available in three dreamy pastel colors – Sage Green, Clay White and Rose Pink – the beautifully textured and easy to hold INSTAX MINI LINK 3 Smartphone printer is designed to go everywhere your Smartphone goes, so you can print INSTAX MINI instant photos from the sofa or on the go. The LED lights on the front are designed to pulse different colors depending on what the printer is doing. This Smartphone printer is one smart cookie!

Q: What is included in the box
A: I bought this with the impression that this comes with film based off the previous answer to this question. Per the box that I received in the mail- This package contains: INSTAX MINI LINK 3 Smartphone Printer, USB Type C Cable, Quick Start Guide, 1 Year Limited Warranty. Unless the brand changed things in the past couple months, this printer does not come with film or a bag. The packaging explicitly says film sold separately.

Q: What film type should I buy for the printer? What is the name of the film I should be looking for? I bought film fir the printer but it didn't fit, unfortunately.

The reason your previous film didn't fit is likely because you bought Instax SQUARE film or Instax WIDE film, which are larger formats for different Instax cameras/printers. Key things to look for when buying film: "Instax Mini": This is the crucial part of the name. It will be explicitly stated on the packaging. Film Size: The film will be credit-card sized, with a picture area of 62mm x 46mm and a full film size of 86mm x 54mm. Packaging: Instax Mini film comes in packs, typically 10 exposures per pack. You'll often find them sold in multi-packs (e.g., 20, 30, 50, or 100 prints). You can find Instax Mini film in various designs (white borders, colorful borders, black borders, special edition patterns, etc.), but as long as it says "Instax Mini," it will fit your printer.
