A: This is plastic packaging. We would like to point out some of the benefits of using plastic. Plastic is considerably lighter than glass and thus uses less energy to transport. Less energy and water is needed to produce a plastic bottle compared to glass. These factors result in less greenhouse gas, less air pollution and less resource consumption. Plastic has the added benefit of being less likely to spill or shatter if dropped.
