Visible imperfections As Shown In The Pictures

One diamond earring had deep inclusions, the other one had non-polished portions on the surfaces, as if rubbed with sandpaper, and it did not reflect light there. When looked at with a magnifying glass it appears that each one has pockmarks at or just under the surface, especially the one with the non-polished surfaces. Not the quality that I expected and certainly not worth the regular price. See the attached pictures. Was told by Chris at Pompeii3 that the imperfections are due to the darkening process. I think it is due to the quality of the diamond selected for these. Exchanging this pair for another one and if those aren't reasonable, they will be returned too.
