My kids diaper pail smelled no matter how often we changed the bags and after a while it just smelled like poopy diapers in the whole room. We saw this spray on sale one day and decided “why not?” And I’m SO HAPPY we bought it!! The entire room smells amazing now! We spray it inside the diaper pail maybe 2x a week and it helps so much! Definitely recommend this spray!!

Smells like dirt
I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but it smells like dirt. Literally makes my baby's room smell like potting soil. It's not a fresh or herbal smell. I've tested it in the air too just to make sure it's not a weird chemical reaction happening in the diaper pail. Still just smells like dirt.

Garbage cans don't smell like perfumeries and I won't blame Poo-pourri for that.
I’m kind of surprised by the bad reviews, I’ve gone through several bottles already and it’s been great. I don’t have a diaper pail so I have to toss diapers in the kitchen garbage. When using the spray, with the garbage’s lid closed, I can’t smell anything. When opening it, there’s just a sharp herbal scent, nothing like poop at all. Would I want that exact smell as a candle? No. It’s still a garbage can lol. Is it better than the alternative? YES. When I went to reorder the first time I saw all the bad reviews and thought “huh, maybe I just got used to it and forgot the old smell and the baby pourri smell really IS worse.” So I went without for a couple days before repurchasing. And I will never do that again because it smelled worse than my oil refinery hometown back in NJ on a windy garbage day. It’s not going to work as well as regular poo-pourri. It goes into a garbage can. Garbage cans unfortunately don’t flush their contents into the bowels of your city every time you use them. That really would be amazing, though.

Scents are personal, just like finding your favorite perfume or candle. We're bummed to hear this isn't a favorite, but not to worry! We have scent blends for all tastes.

Does not mask smell; only makes the oder stronger
I was really excited to use this but unfortunately it does not help with the smell. Like some other customer noted in their review; the smell only draws more attention. It just does not mix well and smells even stronger each time you open the pail. Disappointed with this item.

Sometimes big stinkers come in little packages, we know... we have a few ourselves! Try dumping out the diaper pail on a sooner schedule than usual and spray once it's been emptied. Then after every diaper goes in, give the pail another few sprays and see if this helps.

Do not buy
I was looking forward to using this product, but unfortunately it has actually created a stinky smell issue which is actually way worse than it was before. I only smelled her diaper pail periodically before, whereas now I smell it every time I open it up to throw away another diaper. It actually draws attention to the smelly diaper instead of masking it. I would never purchase this product again, I actually wish I could return this item and get my money back.

Sometimes big stinkers come in little packages, we know... we have a few ourselves! Try dumping out the diaper pail on a sooner schedule than usual and spray once it's been emptied. Then after every diaper goes in, give the pail another few sprays and see if this helps.
