The sharp pepper flavor pairs well with the mild, buttery and slightly sweet flavor of the cashew. The pepper here is finely ground and evenly distributed so you don't need to worry about getting a large chunk of pepper corn. These cashews have a simple, clean ingredient list and make a nice healthy snack. My only complaint is that the bag is a bit small. I received an incentive to write this review.

The nuts were really well seasoned, and the seasoning was well distributed so each nut really tasted consistent and delicious but not overpowering. I wasn’t expecting to like them that much as I’m not super crazy for cashews but the bag is already halfway gone haha. The salt is perfectly balanced, not too much but just enough to bring out the buttery cashew flavor and the pepper gives a subtle kick. They have a very strong pepper taste, which I did not enjoy but I imagine these would be a great snack if you want. Want a strong pepper taste! These would be a great snack for on the go, easy to throw in a bag, stroller, etc. I would continue to try this brand and other flavors and think the quality and packaging is attractive I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love cashews. So I was excited to try some in the sea salt and pepper flavor. The quality of the cashews themselves is good. They are all whole ones and larger halves/pieces. But unfortunately I wasn't a fan of the flavor. They used way too much salt in my opinion. They are just too salty. It overpowers the pepper flavor while you're eating them. You get the pepper more as an aftertaste when your mouth starts to burn after you eat them. While you're chewing them the salt is the main taste. My other disappointment came with the quantity. Yes, I saw the bag contains 4 ounces of nuts before I bought them. But there is SO MUCH salt & pepper in the bag. I'm guessing at least an ounce of the 4 ounces of product in the bag is seasoning. These were just very disappointing. I had high hopes for them and they just weren't what I hoped for. I will not be purchasing in this flavor again. I received an incentive to write this review.

If I had to be super picky, I do believe that the pepper was pretty heavy handed and a bit much personally but I’m not much of a huge pepper eater as is. You mainly get a good taste of sea salt with just a hint of pepper. The cashews themselves are very big and good quality. I like how easy these snacks are to keep on hand. I like the ingredients as there is not added chemicals and ingredients are natural. If you like cashews then you will like these. The flavoring isn’t strong at all and even the pepper taste more of like an aftertaste. They are not hot at all. If you’re looking for more of a kick with flavor these are not for you. This is a good option to have to switch up the traditional salted cashew snack. The bag is deceivingly big, so I was expecting more to be in the bag. They really aren’t overly salty but the pepper is a nice bold taste. Each cashew has lots of seasoning on it but isn’t too overpowering. My 9 year old daughter was able to eat these and loved them. My husband too and they didn’t last long. The packet is attractive but it is big for the quantity of nuts in it. 4oz is not really enough to share and they are a great packed lunch snack. The packet was easy to open. This is the sea salt and pepper flavor and it’s fantastic because it’s actually a ground salt with a ground pepper on top of it. You can see from the one image that some of it does come off as you take the cashews out. However, they’re super tasty. Just make sure you have a napkin with you while eating. He was impressed with the flavor profile being just salty enough and still a little peppery without being overly hot for no reason.
