Very pretty but you don't see the gold part at the top. It's hidden behind the outer layer.

These "look" ok, but definitely look cheaper than $149/ea. We'd have returned them if the install wasn't so brutal. I am pretty sure that my husband contemplated leaving our marriage based on the installation of these lights. The install was the worst he had experienced and I make him do this a lot! He said all the pieces parts were made for people with hands the size of child laborers. Additionally my son has a foam basketball and every time it hits the cover, the whole cover falls off, causing my husband to contemplate our marriage all over again.

Pretty light. A little difficult to install. Disappointingly a bit more of a yellow gold than I expected from the photos…needed it for my husbands office and I was expecting it to be more of a subdued/bronze, but it’s got a bit of feminine/glam factor with the yellowish toned gold. Still pretty, but just not exactly what I had in mind. Might eventually switch it to my daughter’s bedroom

This is lamp is difficult to install. First, the instructions are wrong. One page is correct and the other is off a different lamp. The mounting plate cannot be fastened to the outlet box without using an eight inch magnetic screw driver with a phone camera. There is about an inch clearance to see what’s going on and not fun when you’re on a ladder. It’s really hit and miss and the initial screw alignment was with my fingers. Then putting the canopy on was again very difficult since the screws were difficult to access. You’ll have to go through this every time to want to chance a light bulb. I put an LED light in to avoid doing it frequently. Lastly, there room for only two small bulbs. Two standard light bulbs are very difficult out to fit and hit each other. We ended up putting one bulb in. Would not buy this but invested too much tome into this project.

I received this light fixture. It was difficult to install because there isnt much room for between ceiling and screw holes... unless you have small hands. HOWEVER, I was VERY concerned when I was trying to install the glass pendent, but there was NO lip to secure the screws. The glass piece would not secure, and so there is a HIGH risk that it would fall and injure someone. See photos.

I purchased two for our kitchen area. It looks great. My only con: I wish the light was a little brighter.

Don't waste your time on this one; its construction makes it nearly impossible to change the lightbulbs. Knobs screws are hidden above the globe, behind the drum and since the light sits so close to the ceiling, only a small child would be able to access them. If you can get your 6-year old up there to change the bulbs, go for it ;)

I absolutely love the drum ceiling light that is 12 1/2" wide. It is perfect for my bedroom I redid. It is not large and has a dimmer light with 2 bulbs in it. The larger one that had a taller height was also nice but when I received it I didn't like it because it had a shimmery gold in it which is pretty and subtle but I did not like it for the decor of the room.
