This light is high quality and lights up a big room very well, and having the one-two-three bulb option is good for a dimmer ambiance. The finish is beautiful and easy to keep clean. Set up was easy. The other poster who said the bulbs showed is mistaken and that's because they didn't adjust the shade. I made the same mistake at first and it was because the shade was askew rather than being straight. This is one of the best purchases made online in a long time. We liked it so much we bought a second lamp for another room.

I had purchased this lamp previously and the shade was larger so the lightbulbs were not visible. None of the pictures of the lamp provided by lamps plus shows this protrusion. I am a male of about average height and the bulbs can’t be seen if I stand right next to the lamp, but from a distance as little as 3 feet away they can and quite frankly the look is ugly.

There are large drips of solder or paint on top of the oval center piece of the pole. They are right at eye level so clearly visible to anyone looking at the lamp. Would have sent it back if it were not so big and heavy. Very disappointed in the quality.
