The book builds on years of experience in educating and instructing physicians on all aspects of cardiac CT imaging. The book includes chapters on latest and evolving technologies and envisions a link to online applications for enhanced, readily available instruction.

About the Author



Dr. Armin A. Zadeh is the director of cardiac CT at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Division of Cardiology and professor of medicine and biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA. He was one of the main investigators of the CorE-and CorE-320 trials and he is the principal investigator of the CORE-PRECISION multi-center study. A SCCT member soon after its foundation, Dr. Zadeh has served on numerous SCCT committees over the past decades, including writing panels for inaugural guidelines on the acquisition and interpretation of cardiac CT. He directed the annual SCCT board review and comprehensive topic review for more than 10 years. Dr. Zadeh is the co-director of the Johns Hopkins cardiac CT course and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular CT.

Dr John Hoe is Consultant Radiologist, Mt Elizabeth Hospital, Mt Elizabeth@Novena Hospital, Parkway East Hospital and MediRad Associates Ltd in Singapore. Subspeciality interest in cardiovascular imaging. Has been performing cardiac CT since May 2003 .Organiser of an annual CT Coronary Angiography Teaching Course since Oct 2004, held in Asia and Australia. He has given more than 250 lectures on cardiac CT in Asia, Europe, USA and Australia and presented scientific papers on cardiac CT in major international meetings. Has published more than 30 papers in international peer reviewedjournals on cardiac CT. Local Principal investigator in 2 major international multicentre trials on cardiac CT-CorE64 stenosis and CorE320 myocardial perfusion. Founding member of Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging (ASCI) and Past President of Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging (ASCI)-2013 to 2015.
