Pressman Mancala Game | Mancala is one of the world's oldest and best-loved games, and our folding wood Mancala board offers an affordable way to play that makes a great travel game as well as a great home edition. Players take turns scooping up the special marbles and counting them out one at a time into the pockets on the board. When they drop a marble into an empty pocket on their side of the board, they capture all the stones in the opposite pocket. It sounds like a simple marble game, but it's got plenty of strategy and it reinforces STEM skills such as counting and strategic planning. The winner is the player who collects most of the marbles. The board and pieces are nice quality, but because this does not come with a carry case/bag, I had planned to store it in its original box. The box it comes in was damaged because the shipper sent it in a padded envelope instead of a cardboard box. Will now have to tape it up to hold box together. A nice set but would've been nicer if shipper hadn't chosen to save 30 cents on packaging.
