Was a little concerned about these producing enough light as I am used to the R-30 bulbs that are available in most any configuration you want as far as beam spread and these are below R-30 lumens too. Also could find no detail specs on beam size at various angles and heights. All the tech details aside these are mounted on 10 ft. ceilings and generally 2.5 feet away from the wall and produced nice spot patterns on various things I wanted to highlight. As an added bonus the fixture is smaller than an R-30 fixture and will rotate to a straight 90 degree down. Few fixtures will do that! Ran them on the Lutron Diva C-L 150 W and even switched to the lowest setting will take them from bright to black with no flicker or hitches. Not trying to sell Lutron but have played the LED vs dimmers battles before with multiple brands with much frustration. This combo works! Very pleased!
