Top shelf oil
Was using Mobil 1 for the longest time until today. Read a lot on line about Valvoline and other major brands for a duration of a month and made my decision to go with Valvoline. With the engine just idling I noticed how smooth and quiet it became. Now I know I might be a little over board on oil changes at 4000 miles but it’s my regiment. I’m very impressed with this grade of 5/30 synthetic. Even on the highway the engine was very responsive and smooth acceleration. My engine does not leak or consume oil and I’m sure this oil will help extend its life on just what I’m experiencing right now. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to notice this better performing oil. The people at Valvoline are the scientists and it reflects in my engines performance. Use this oil and forget about other hype from other companies. It’s just over exaggerated information.

Easy to switch in the vehicle and last just as long as it should. Would recommend immensely. Don't let your car or truck pass up its needed oil change, instead get this and change it yourself.

This oil provides great cold-start protection and keeps the engine running smoothly even during longer drives. I noticed quieter operation and a more responsive feel after switching to it. claims 40% stronger wear protection and 15% better deposit protection, and from my experience, it does seem to keep the engine cleaner between oil changes. It also carries the dexos1 Gen 3 certification, which gives me confidence in its quality and compatibility with modern engines.The container design is convenient with a sturdy handle for easy pouring, though you do have to be careful not to spill (as seen in my case). Still, it’s one of the best values for synthetic oil on the market—reliable, affordable, and trusted.
