Combustion engines in hybrids are constantly switching off and restarting, which can create more wear and tear. This synthetic oil is specially formulated to keep your hybrid car's engine performing efficiently over the long term. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Valvoline hybrid 0W-20 synthetic motor oil is a good product. I typically change the car oil at home so I want to make sure I use a brand that performs well. Valvoline makes quality products and is a brand that I trust. My vehicle runs great after the oil change and it’s an oil that I will continue to use. Overall this is definitely worth trying if your car uses synthetic oil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Driving a Prius Hybrid means oil changes can be far apart. It's been a while. When going around a corner or during hard braking, you get a brief flash on the dash that says your oil is low. Like most cars, the engine gradually burns off some internal motor oil, so a top-off is acceptable until the following complete oil change. It will also keep that warning from flashing on. Valvoline oils come highly recommended, and I haven't used anything else since my younger years of working in the automotive world. The actual front label on the bottle has more info, so I took a picture. Valvoline is a trustworthy, quality full synthetic hybrid motor oil, and the pricing is quite reasonable.

Works great on my Prius
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 2013 Prius and this engine oil is perfect for it. The weight is the same as OEM and it’s full synthetic just like it needs. I like how the oil is specially tailored for hybrid vehicles. Valvoline has always been a leader in oil and i am glad I am using this oil in my prius.

The clear winner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up with my dad always using Valvoline. He taught me ow to change the oil and always said I should never use anything else. Those were the days when they came in cans and you punched the hole for the spout. Now they have very handy containers with built in funnels. Makes it so easy to use and is always good for my car which I tend to keep longer than most people do.

Car runs smoother

The oil flows easily and maintains its viscosity well, even in extreme temperatures. I have noticed a significant improvement in the fuel efficiency of my vehicle since switching to this oil, and the engine seems to be running smoother and more quietly.

Great oil with no issues

It’s easy to pour, no mess after using, an ergonomic handle that helps to reach in odd oil spaces. The car is running well with the oil and I feel the performance is still solid.

Hybrid oil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hybrid cars are a lot harder on oil because they are on/off constantly during your drives. So you should buy a oil that’s made just for a hybrid vehicle. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who drives a hybrid.

After switching to Max Life, I noticed a significant improvement in my car's performance. It also helped condition seals to eliminate a minor leak around my rear seal. I will probably use Valvoline Max Life for the rest of my car's life. It's the best .

Great for Hybrid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Honda Accord Hybrid really liked this engine oil. My MPG also increased 1-3 mpg after the oil change. I have always trusted Valvoline motor oil for all the vehicles I've owned. Their products have never let me down and this oil is no exception. The science that they put into this oil to protect your engine is second to none.
