Valvoline MaxLife Multi-Vehicle (ATF) Full Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid 1 GA

I have been using this ATF for years and have had zero issues. I even use it in my MaxJac lift.

Used the max life atf in Toyota sequoia,matrix,tacoma,scion-xd,Nissan xterra,jeep grand Cherokee valvoline +4 etc all great results.

I've used Maxlife ATF in multiple Ford and GM transmissions and it has never let me down. In my experience if Valvoline says it can be used in a particular transmission use it with confidence

I didn’t want to spend dealership prices for OEM fluid, so I gave this a shot after hearing good things. Right away, I noticed a difference. After the first drain and fill, the shifts felt smoother and less “clunky.” On cold mornings, the transmission used to hesitate, but now it engages faster and doesn’t feel like it’s struggling to find the right gear. Over a few hundred miles, the overall drive just became more consistent. One thing I especially like is that it’s made with seal conditioners. My car has over 150k miles, and I’ve been worried about leaks. Since switching, I haven’t noticed any spots under the car, and that gives me peace of mind. It also runs quieter—there’s less of that faint whining sound that used to creep in on long highway drives. Now, I’ll say this: if your transmission is already badly worn or slipping, this isn’t a miracle fix. It helps, but it won’t rebuild worn clutches or replace a failing solenoid. For me, it definitely improved drivability and gave the transmission a “healthier” feel, but it’s not a cure-all. The other big plus is the price. For a synthetic fluid that covers so many different specs, it feels like good insurance without draining your wallet. The only caution I’d give is to double-check that your car’s transmission is actually compatible with it. Some makes (especially certain Hondas or Toyotas) can be picky about fluids, so I made sure to cross-check the spec before pouring it in. Overall, I’ve been really happy with MaxLife. It feels like the right balance of performance, protection, and value—especially for keeping an older transmission running smoothly. I plan on sticking with it for future changes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good transmission fluid for the Ford 150 1999 model. It is compatible with the F150 Mercron V transmission fluid. Drain all the fluid and replace it with this. The R70W requires 5.9 quarts when you drop the transmission pan %26 replace the filter or 13.4 quarts for the total job when you drain the toqure converter and transmission cooler replacement. This is the best fluid for a vehicle with lots of mileage and is not going to be used for towing excessive loads. Great product for a great price!
