DP UB9000 PANASONIC BLU RAY PLAYER
Truly the Blu-ray player I ever had by Far.It even Aced the first Sony Blu-ray player that came out in 2006.Its a true Computer in each and every way. Best Audio-Video unit ever on the market.Not even close.But to have it work Optimally you have to have a late model UltraHd tv,and a premium surround sound system like Bose,Harman Karden,or Klipsch.Some people sais Sonos is great, but I am a Bose guy.I have the bose soundbar 900 with Dolby Atmos,and bose subwoofer,bose surround speakers 700.With that Combo it is nothing Short of Hollywood cinema Imax theater sound and picture.

This player was touted as the best premium high-end 4k player of 2026, as soon as it arrived it would play quarter of a movie then start to create digital artifacts on the screen, audio would cut out, and scenes would start skipping. I replaced the HDMI with a more recent version that supports what this system can do, still, movie after movie scenes would tear and skip. Doing further research I have heard this system can have a lot of issues. It’s possible the guide rod for the internal chassis needs to be lubricated, it’s possible the laser system needed to be replaced if it was having issues reading the triple layers of a 4k disc. Either way, you shouldn’t need to invest in replacement parts when the player you purchased is 3 days old! So I am in the process of an exchange. I’m hoping the second player I receive is not defective.

Great Product
Everything is great but the app applications are absolutely unacceptable. Good thing for me is that I use my Apple TV for apps, so it is all about movie watching and crisp audio.
