Not so great
Bought unit to clean patio slab at cabin. It was clearly less powerful than my old gas powered unit. Quite straight forward to assemble. Nice looking unit. More looks than brawn.

Great Customer Service
Opened box to find base of unit cracked severely! It was obvious that it had been dropped hard, by looks of box! Called and had a replacement unit here within another 5 days! Tried out unit and works so much better than my older has powered unit!! Quiet, smooth and flawless operation so far! Extremely pleased for now!

Rapid Exchange
Forest officials I had a Karcher K5 for 7 years until it one due just couldn’t go on. I really loved it, so I bought another. When I got it and put it together (which is very easy). It failed to start. I called Karcher they walked me through the rapid exchange program. Great customer reps and they got me my replacement in leads than 10 days! My wife put me to work with it over the weekend. Thanks k you Karcher, it’s rare today the large corporations operate in this way — mainly keeping their word and backing up their product. Thanks again

Mixed Review
This is my second Kärcher pressure washer, the first being transported on a hand truck because the wheels broke soon after purchase. The new one broke off the cheap plastic base-foot within a few hours. I think Kärcher needs to spend some time with purchasers and watch their intuitive behavior and design their products to work well in practical use, not just on paper. The power washing unit itself performs extremely well, but that is not enough. I'm disappointed that German engineering was passed to Chinese manufacturers.

I purchased this for mostly for inside the shop usage and I’m completely happy with the purchase. Ordered a longer hose so I can leave the unit in 1 spot and just pull the hose and wand around

Nicely designed
This K5 Premium replaced an old Kaercher pressure washer I have. The old one was a work horse, but I wanted something that I could move more easily around my property. The features of the K5 Premium makes mobility much easier. The large wheels, the hose reel, the hose attachment on the front, the removable detergent bottle, all make setup much faster and easier. I expect this to last the same 20+ years as my older Kaercher.

Glad that I did it
I recently decided to scrap my old garden market pressure washer after again I could not get the job done as clean as I wanted. Si O went for what I know from my native home and upgraded to the K5 Premium. First job was my concrete deck with 10 years of southern stain that the old one together with cleaning detergent could not get clean. Used the detergent from Kärcher and cleaned the deck with the deck and driveway cleaner attachment. Long story shore, no splatters all over me due to the attachment and the dry concrete is now as white as it had been the day after it was laid. I am really happy with the result

This is my second Power washer
I bought K3 power washer 1800 psi 13 years ago, it worked excellent. I abused, abandoned it for over the last 3 years, I learned my lesson not taking good care. K5 Premium uses water to cool down the motor, and quick connector for both low and high pressure water lines. I powered wash my house aluminum side and deck with short time and easy too use.

Pressure, but the pressure hose is terrible
Unit tips over easily when attempting to unwind the horrible, stiff pressure hose from the reel. Takes a foot on the unit, and 3 hands to unwind it without knocking the unit over. Pressure hose retains the coiled shape badly and doesn't want to straighten without unwinding then untwisting the hose multiple times to get all the coils out. Very, very clumsy to use, where a decent flexible rubber pressure hose would eliminate all of that headache. The unit has a pretty poor soap dispenser mechanism that doesn't reliably draw soap from the container. Pressure is decent otherwise. Not overly impressed given the cumbersome use issues.

Wand
The Plugin for the wand is only leak proof if you have good water pressure, which I don't, so suddenly it pops out and has to be reconnected, the Twist type was far better

Amazingly simple to use
I bought the K5 Premium for those quick washes of the boat, kayak, and other little projects around the house. Absolutely love it ease of use. This pressure washer is quick and simple to use. No need to spend precious time getting this unit all setup. Its always set up! Just hook up the hose, plug in the cord and get it done.

start it with a flip of a switch
I have a number of power tools with gas engines, and with half of them I halways have problems starting them. So with the pressure washer I was looking for a electrical one. The Kaercher K 5 Premium is powerful enough to clean a concrete driveway, yet it is quite silent compared to the gas engine counterparts. And it always starts just with the flip of a switch. The rotating nozzle is doing an excellent job of cleaning, I couldn't be happier !
